| I use one occasionally.. and I follow the directions. Last time I had it on.. ready to go, for some reason the test never happened. So the correctly mixed dehydrated urine stayed in the bag when I put it away. About a week and a half later I emptied the bag.. and just out of curiosity decided to dip the urine with the dips I use. The urine had gotten lighter and just a tiny bit "cloudy" (mine is occasionally like that, too). The control line was ok.. but the test line was very faint... barely visible. I've tested their dehydrated urine before.. freshly mixed, and it's always given me a good test line (other brands, on occasion, only come up faint for some reason). Can't recall 100% if I pre-tested this batch.. was rushed. But.. assuming that the test line freshly mixed was strong.. why.. a week and a half later would it go faint?? Curious to know what other reasons contribute to a faint test line. The presumption is that it MAY indicate metabolite presence at just under threshold. But, then the fact sheets also say that test line color can in no way be used to judge time of last usage, or exact amt of metabolite in urine.. or.. even if it's there. They all state emphatically that negative is negative.. then seem to leave a little "wiggle room" ???? |
