Hey everyone. Great forum, I've been reading up on here for awhile as I had a drug test this morning. I didn't feel worried enough to ask a question, reading up on what I'd seen made me feel confident enough, but now I have another question that you fine folks may be albe to answer (if anyone is so inclined to read through all this).

Here's my lowdown: I thought originally I'd be tested in May, this is for a pre-employment physical I had for a Nursing Assistant position. So I quit on 4/20, and waited for the day of my freedom. 60 days passed of abstaining, and in late June they FINALLY called me after 2 interviews. I got the job. I figured I'd be tested a couple days, but no. They scheduled the physical for today, July 28th. I couldn't stand to wait another whole month of not toking, so I started blazing up until June 29th. Then, in a minor lapse of judgement, I smoked some mersh on July 5th. Haven't smoked since.

I'm 20, 5'9'', 165 lbs, fit and active, fast metabolism. I tested myself with a test strip I got from a friend after 16 days clean (the 22nd of July I believe), I passed on my first piss of the day. But since the exp date said 7/08, I got a couple more kits, this time the At-home brand (at $15 a pop they're pretty annoying. I wish those 3$ were available at stores and not just online). Anyways, I tested myself again at 18 days clean, first piss of the day, passed.

I also tested myself this morning (22 days clean, 28 days not including the mersh smoking), first piss of the day. Passed.

But, just to be safe, I decided to mildly dilute. I drank a 20 oz gatorade about 4 hours before the test, had some McDonalds breakfast about 2.5 hours before (to help yellow my urine. mmm, greasy goodness). Drank another 20 oz gatorade slowly after that, finished it with about an hour to go before the test. So I peed a few times before, and my piss at the test was still pretty yellow, maybe a bit on the pale side (which is what I wanted). Right on the form I had to sign it said 'Screen and Confirmation, THC, 50 ng/ml', which was encouraging.

So HERE's where my real question(s) come in. First off, everyone pretty sure I passed?

Butttt, what I'm moreso worried about, is when do you think I'm clear to smoke again? My friend got the same position last year, and told me you'll never hear of your results; you're supposed to pass, obviously. So I'm not waiting on that. I really just want to blaze again, but now I'm worried they could call me back for a retest if it was too diluted. Does it sound like I'm in that boat? If so, when would you expect they inform you of that?

I'm leaving this Thursday for Lollapalooza and I'll definitely be smoking from that point on, can't pass that up. So what do ya'll think? Wait until Thursday, or hit some kush tonight?

If you're 22 days clean I'd say your marginally safe on the test, and depending on how much you smoked in your moment of weakness there could be only very small levels in yo pee, what I can't tell you is if they're low enough to be undetectable, with the dilution I'd say you're pretty safe, but I know very little about this subject, so you could be F-ed.
So if you feel safe that you passed go ahead and blaze, however if you're even the slightest bit unsure I'd say hold off. You can always light up later, but undoing a smoke is much harder to do, but if you find out how it could be quite profitable.

I just realized this post is potentially completely useless....

I'm pretty much in the EXACT same boat....clean 2 months, lapsed for 5 days and have a test tomorrow which will be 23 days clean. I am also diluting to be on the safe side, practiced with the at home tests and have been passing with a varying degree of line faintness. I am hoping that they test it on the spot and don't make me wait, I don't think I can take the stress....good luck on passing, you sound like you are fine but I feel your pain.

Good luck to you too, I haven't heard anything so I think I'm gonna be OK, but yeah, the wait after is pretty unbearable. All you can think of is the Jane and it still feels out of reach

You tested negative at home, first pee of the day. You are good to go on that front.

You didn't drink too much fluid. It is allowed that we give a donor who is in a "shy bladder" situation, 40 ounces of water spread out evenly over 3 hours. You only drank 40 ounces over 4 hours. You are fine as far as diluted goes as well.

If you won't be subject to random testing, toke away!
