okay, in june i smoked about everyday from around the 15 to the 22. Maybe once after that. I had not smoked at all til friday july 18, i smoked twice that day. I have 4 questions ---

1. when they prick your finger at a physical is that for drugs or something else?
2. when you pee in a cup at a physical is it for drugs?
3. in high school sports physicals do they check for drugs
4. if so, WHAT SHOULD I DO!?

Public schools dont test athletes for drugs ATLEAST IN ALL THE SCHOOLS IN MY AREA. Private schools might be different, but you dont have anything to worry about. I know MANY MANY people that have have been dirty going into sport physical for high school and not a single one of them was failed the physical for drug use.

This is not true.

Some schools do test athletes for drugs. I know of at least 3 in North Carolina that does on a bi-weekly basis, and a few districts in Ohio that do it as-needed (after incidents, big parties, etc).

Maybe i should rephrase my post to say no schools in my area drug test athletes. I figured it would be a violation of a law or something.

I do know they prick style finger tests do not test for drugs.

I have also been to a physical dirty where i had to pee in a cup. It was to check that my body properly metobolised something or another.

Agreed. Sounds like just a normal physical, drug testing in High Schools is kind of controversial so I'm pretty sure you would know if your school did testing for their athletes. None of my area schools test, just made us sign those I won't do drugs/alcohol/tobacco agreements.

Are they even allowed to test you without your knowledge?

all they test for is if u r metabolizing ur vitamins well enough and no they have to tell u if they test for drugs and on the form for your school unless the drug screening checkbox is checked off u are fine stop worrying its a waste of UR life and yes i know this for a fact
