What is a licensed herbalist? I know what an herbalist is but as far as I know there is no state that requires herbalists to be licensed or has a board or organization that licenses herbalists. Since herbs don’t require and prescription and are really not regulated by the FDA, why would you need to be licensed. I might be wrong so if I am, please link me to a state licensing board or something. I would like to know. Quote:

I know if you do enough net searches you will find things that say otherwise. This is mainly because of 2 reasons. One is old information and the second is because companies that sell detox drinks or “masking” drinks or additives sometimes like to scare people into buying their products. It’s a marketing gimmick. In fact, here’s a little story about false positives. Probably the last drug known to cause a false positive was a prescription for a proton pump inhibitor that reduces stomach acid called Protonix. A bunch of people in a nursing home failed the immunoassay portion of the drug test but not GC/MS. Very quickly it was discovered why and the test was corrected. The chances of failing any immunoassay because of a false positive from other medicines OTC or prescription have to be in the range of hitting the lottery. Quote:

While there are prescription meds, some herbs and other non medicinal diuretics out there, really they have no place in the dilution method. First of all it is the dilution method not the make your urine as dilute as possible method. The method calls for very specific liquid volumes because you don’t want to over dilute and get a negative dilute which may or may not get you a retest. By adding diuretics to the mix, you are making it harder for yourself because sometimes it is hard to gauge how the diuretic will affect someone. It is more effective and more controllable to dilute your urine by increasing your fluid intake and measuring this than by adding other chemicals. Plus, since herbs are unregulated by the FDA, often times the strength of an herbal product is unknown or may vary from manufacturer to manufacturer or even from different lot batches from the same manufacturer. Also, just because you are increasing the amount of water in your urine doesn’t mean your body is excreting extra THC metabolites in the urine. I wish my link in my sig to the thread about drinking lots of water is useless so you could see some more on this subject. Again, we are all on the same page and I think you got off to a bad start. If you hang around and do some more reading and interaction, you will see that there are many regulars in the drug testing forum who are qualified to answer drug testing questions and are only out to help perfect strangers beat their drug test.

| I agree with all the posts that dispute what riseofpheonix75 is saying about false postitives, etc. As Buzzby and and others have said only time and exercise can rid your body of THC Metabolites to a level to enable you to pass a drug test. riseofphoenix also said that "depending on how much you smoke" the method he/she prescribed would enable you to pass a drug urine test in 2 weeks time. The fact is that depending on how much a person smokes and their metabolism a person may be able to pass a drug urine test in 2 weeks without doing any treatment whatsoever. The time it takes to get clean varies from person to person and there isn't any "set time" on how long it will take someone to test clean for THC Metabolites. FakeBoobsRule said: Quote:
The search feature on this site a valuable tool and the search feature in your web browser such as yahoo or google is also a valuable tool for research. The next time you think you haven't heard of something, just type it in a search engine. You may be surprised at what you find.
