Please someone with definitive knowledge of these test help me out. I'm totally freaking out, job is in jeopardy. I got f'd up at a party almost 2 weeks ago, friday the 18th, took 5 hits off a roach (a godfather though so I'm worried about the thc levels in the resin of that) but anyway I took 5 hits and was surprise tested 2 nights ago, the 30th. So thats 5 hits after 12 days. Haven't smoked for over 2 months prior to that so its a one time thing. My question is if anyone knows what kind of home drug test the First Check home Drug Test cup is? Is that the same thing as an EMIT test? They check for the same cut off levels 50 ng/ml. I'm getting an EMIT with the gc/ms for confirmation if the emit is positive. A few hours before they took my sample I used the home test and saw the two lines indicating a negative test. Then the day after they took my sample I did it again just to make sure and got the same result. Are these EMIT tests the same thing as the home tests? Please someone let me know I've been searching the net for a day and can't find any definitive answers.


PS I worked out the day of the test so I'm also worried that I kicked up any dormant thc, but I did drink a few glasses of water a few hours before, and then right before the test.

Thanks, I hope so. Too much too lose all because of one slip up. So far so good, I guess I'd have heard something by now if the results were bad news. Anyway I called the home test kit and found out their test uses TLC, or thin layer chromatography. TLC is similar to the EMIT I think, they may be different procedures but they check for the same cut off levels.
