I have a DOT job I got random on a Friday afternoon so I blamed Friday traffic I didnt get to the lab in time. On purpose ofcourse. I had smoked a joint the nighrt before and had a bag waiting for me on the weekend. I locked it up well really I sold it to a friend to buy my regular Vale 4x from the shop I stayed clean up until one hour before the lab closed Monday. I did the Vale 4x hour and a half before my test bought a gallon of water from the corner store and drank it in the parking lot. I tested with a home test and showed clean so I went into the lab did my thing. Thrusday I get that call noone wants from the MRO. Positive for Marijuana. OMG I just bought a house anyhow my level was 35ng/ml I was like I thought the cutoff was 50 she said not anymore and rtold me she had to report this to my job. OK well we know the suspended me on the spot. I smoked a joint then that was Thursday rtoday is Tuesday I test again Wednesday I bought 7day detox from drug store and some Turmic. I also take hydrochlorrothiazide for blood pressure and adderall for ADD which I told the MRO but that explanes only the amphetimines. I have to be supervised now so subsutuition is out of the question Im drink water, cranberry juice , Monster engery drinks , no adderall today or tomarrow ill buy another drink but not Vale they failed me so my question is what is your favorite drink before a test I can nort be dilute a dilute even if neg. will be Im fired or rehab. and that 7day detox I rtook the pills but that powder drink stuff makes me throw up so I didnt do it. Well mostly wanted to vent my story after reading for days everyone elses.

however Im not sleeping good I went to the drug store and failed a home test and I do the return to duty in the morning IM SCREWED

Did you complete the SAP process? The evaluation, counseling and re-evaluation? How could you do that all in the span of a couple days? The regulations state you cannot take a return-to-duty test without first completing the SAP process. If you haven't seen a Substance Abuse Professional for the evaluation, treatment and re-evaluation, this would give you at least an additional week to get clean.

BTW, it will be Mandatory that all return-to-duty and follow-up tests are observed as of the 25th of August of this year, so you are right, subbing is out.

You will be subject to a minimum of 6 follow-up tests over the next calendar year in addition to any random testing required.

You should definetly stop smoking pot.

Its a DOT test I transport medicade/medicare medical patients for a private company its not CDL or safety sensitive so my return to duty is kinda retest because I had a low level DOT test is not required by law its rewuired by the company.

Oh yes Im done smoking weed Seems Id be better of being a crack head anyhow looking at how long it stays in your system...Joking about the crack

If you have a DOT test, then the SAP process should be followed. IF you dont have to follow the SAP process, then you shouldn't have a DOT test.
