Hello All.


Well, I am very worried about my (friends) probation piss test on august 24th. I have seen that he has not smoked since 8/7/08. My calculations bring that to be 18 days sober.

He used to smoke chronically for the last 10 years.

My friend is about 5' 7" and 160 pounds and 24 years old with a medium metabolism.

There has been only a few days of moderate exercise in between quitting and now.

He is planning a dilution method including CERTO and 96oz. of cranberry juice/ propel/ gatorade. (64oz, 16oz, 16oz).

He will be starting a creatine regiment tonight, but is not sure how much to take daily. Ha has the powder. Should he stick to what is on the bottle? The bottle recommends 3 teaspoons daily.

He is also getting a home test today, and going to test after drinking several beers and lots of propel (hopefully 96 oz.)

He has already failed a few other tests while using the CERTO method, but smoking the night before the tests. He snuck a peek at the PO's paperwork and saw a 600+ ng reading on a failed test (which was also catagorized as dilute). He asked why it was dilute-- lack of creatinine. He had not taken any supplements.

Is 18 days enough time to pass? I know it varies person to person, and he is very nervous!

Is there anything else I can tell him to do?

he has QUIT smoking for good (at least the next year) but is worried that he quit too late.

I would appreciate any valid information from reputable sources to pass on to him.

Do the dilution sticky at the top of the page. Use the gatorade instead of water.
DO NOT PEE for the first hour until you drink the FULL 48oz. Then pee, every time you pee drink another 8oz.
About an hour before the test take vitamin B2 or B complex to make it yellow.
I have tested this method over 27 times the 28th coming tomorrow and passed every time. I too fit your friends description.
I tested Certo, as well as everything else I could find. They didn't work, the dilution did. Dilute. But YES, quit MJ while on probation. If I had, I wouldn't be on this site right now and would be living my happy life. It's NOT worth the risk, tell your friend that.

would the 48 oz of gatorade with CERTO have a negative benefit? Is there some reason not to take the CERTO?

Would CERTO effect specific gravity?


My friend does NOT want to goto jail.


BTW he is on probation for having less than a half gram of cannabis.

IF either you or your friend were dilute AND still had a reading of over 600 ng/mL of THC in your urine, you will need a hell of a lot longer than 13 days clean to get a negative reading.

Certo will screw you over again.

Read the dilution sticky. Read the first post, then start reading from the most recent post back at least 15 - 20 pages. You will begin to understand why certo won't help and what actually will help.

yes. he was dilute and still reading 600+ ng.
like I said, he was smoking every day for 10 years before the tests, then the night before there was smoking.

I am at a loss of what to do for him!!

to me, a negative dilute with a negative result is good (IMO) because he has failed 2 test with positive dilute results. Would that come into play at all?

Most probation tests are observed, so substituting is out.

Your "friend" needs to stop smoking pot now!!! And continue to abstain while on probation, unless your friend likes the idea of sitting in jail and not smoking.

That is the best I can do for "him"

Read the dilution sticky and since he now has 13 or more days without smoking pot, hope for the best and follow it to the letter!!!

Ok so the CERTO is out. I guess I will tell him to trust the godfather. My friend has been sober and regrets the smoking 13 days ago. He regrets smoking at all.... which is sad but true.

I will lead him in the direction and hope for the best for him.

dude, your friend needs to dilute the way the sticky says to.
I smoked EVERYDAY, bowl after bowl, blunt after blunt for over 12 years!!!!
I bought 2 oz a week(I had a great job and hardly any bills, and no kids!)
sometimes I would finish the bag in 4-5 days. I was ALLOWED to smoke at work, so honestly all day everyday I smoked.
Following the dilution sticky and 9 days of sobriety- I passed!! So your friend is doing it all wrong. You have to drink the gatorade at the right time and the right amount.
Trust the sticky and do the practice run and test. This is the BEST advice ever.
If you want to pass-Listen to Sec. She has helped thousands of people, like you and me. Trust her word like the bible.

I REALLY appreciate everyone's help. My friend in the process of a dry run dilution right now. He bought 2 at home tests from CVS and will be using one tonight (after dilution but not to the T of the sticky) and one tomorrow to the T of the sticky. He hopes at least one is negative. He has started his creatine regiment and also got some asprin at CVS tonight. He just registered for 15 hours of business school and bought 500 dollars worth of books-- the 1st day of classes is the day of test I hope and he does too, thats all is not wasted on a stupid decision of wanting to get high. He needs to and has realized that probation is a bitch and he NEEDS to let it go while being supervised. He feels like a mentally-challenged person because he has already had 2 chances and blown them off.

I THANK everyone for reading my thread and hope anyone in the same situation as my friend can realize that no jail is more important than no smoking (or eating) cannabis.

P.S.

I am working towards becoming a Sureme Court Justice, so I can fix this stupidity which is causing undue stress upon our culture. I mean come on people-- tax and regulate it to the MAX!!!




I can smile because I feel confident for my friend. ( plus he has an appointment with a psychiatrist for anxiety tomorrow and feel like that will help a bit).
