Long story short, I'm taking a urine/ fasting blood test for a life insurance policy. On the day that I will take it, I will have been clean for 26 days. Before abstaining I was I guess a moderate smoker, maybe a bowl a day and a few more on the weekends. Usually mid grade smoke. I'm 6'0", 250 lbs. I have a gut but I powerlift, so I guess I'm not the fittest person around, but can definitely hold my own in the gym (4 days/wk). I self tested yesterday (21st day clean) using a Varian Teststik/3 coc/mor/thc. The Morphine line was dark blue (neg) but the lines for Cocaine and THC were light. Tested around noon after being thoroughly hydrated (3 cups coffee and 1 1/2 liters water between 9am - 12 noon). I don't do coke (or anything other than buds), so I'm a little confused as to how to interpret these readings since the coc/thc lines were similar in light color.

I plan on following N2's dillution method just to be safe. But I'm just wondering if anyone out there has ever had any experience using these types of test sticks and whether or not the readings I got show that I am coming up negative for THC metabolites.

I'm going to test again 1st void of the day to get a more accurate reading.

Any prior experiences/advice would be appreciated. Thanks all.

You were negative then. A line is a line. If there is a line, the test result is negative.

Good news and bad news:

Took another test (1st void of the day) and no line. However, finagled an extension on the test for another 2 weeks. When I test it will be 40 days abstaining.

If I'm still testing hot before I submit to the test, I'll dillute. I'm assuming that if dilluting with just water (and passing) after 21 days is good, 40 days will be even better.

I'll post updates and results.
