Hello. Here is my situation.

Its been about 65 days..give or take a day or two since I last smoked.

I was a pretty heavy smoker...at least once a day, usually more

I am about 6 feet tall and about 185lbs. I'm not in too bad shape, but i'm not very active.

Starting today I plan to be as active as possible before the test. Running on treadmill, and using stationary bike etc.

I have gotten a job offer and my first day is in about 2 weeks. I dont have a drug test appointment yet, but I know I have to pass one for the Dept. of Transportation. I am assuming it will be within 3 weeks.

I have taken 2 at home drug tests. The first one I took in the middle of the day and passed. The second one I took first thing in the morning and I passed as well. In both cases, the pass line was not as dark as the control line, but I wouldnt say it was really light or faded.

However, after reading many of the posts here I am getting scared that I might not pass.

I am wondering what you guys think? Should I go the synthetic route (something I am not very comfortable with) or would I be better off taking my chances?

As soon as this is over (and as long as I dont have to be subject to random tests) I am going to light up a big joint and finally relax.

What I would do in your shoes (not wanting to chance subbing) would be to take a home test with your FIRST urine of the day. Then when the results appear see if you can get a clear picture of it or photocopy it. If you can still see the results then it show be a negative. Then I would make sure I'm hydrated well before test, do a mild dilution and go for the gusto.

Hey man thanks for the advice. Quick question... You mean I should take a pic of the test strip and look and see if I can see the line in the picture right?

Also, I've read the sticky and some other posts on dilution, but what would be considered a "mild" dilution?

Oh, also, the test I took fist thing in the morning was my first urination of the day and it came out neg.

As far as the picture, yes....if you can see the negative line with your FIRST urine in the picture then you have a good negative any other time of the day. I consider a mild dilution to be about 1/2 of what the dilution sticky calls for. In fact....if you are passing with your first urine of the day I wouldn't bother with a dilution....just make sure you are hydrated before your test. If your body is negative then don't risk getting a neg/dilute with dilution.
