Hi everyone and thanks in advance for your help! I've read the stickies and other posts, but I was really hoping for a direct answer- so here's my stats:

Female, 5'8", 205, slow metabolism, (but I lose weight fairly quickly) not terribly active.

Have smoked daily (high grade goodies) daily (mostly evening- like 3-5 j's a day) for about the past 5 years.

I have been abstaining for a dreadful 36 days! But I am very proud that my willpower is there.

I had a pre-employment test (only after 5 days clean- I knew I would fail- with mild dilution.) The MRO called and did not give me the cutoff levels- I did not think to ask- and this was September 18. I was tested with a 9-panel- tested pozzie for mj. Needless to say, I kissed that high-paying job goodbye.

My question is: Do I have the legal right to ask for my results? I would really like to know where my levels are in comparision to what they need to be, which is 50. I know to buy a home test, but was unsure if the ones off of e-bay and/or pharmacies actually show the cutoff levels. MJ is all I do (did) so I have no need to test for anything else.

I am planning on using QF 4.2- but after reading someone here got a "synthetic urine" fail (I know that was with 4.0) I am worried. Also, I tested with C o n c e n t r a with an e screen that they instantly split and sent off to Kansas, they did not scan the cup locally. They seem to be a strict lab, at least where I am located. I cannot sub cause my friends are all like me!

To summarize:
1. Do I have the right to request my results? The company will not return my calls.

2. Can you recommend the best 1 panel test for my situation?

3. Can QF 4.2 be detected with a really detailed lab screening?

4. At day 36 mj free- any ideas where I might be?

I'm going to get a CVS test to see where I am at- but any info would be more than appreciated.

Only if you are an employee can you request a copy of your personnel file and a copy of your drug test results. Pre-employment has no rights to that information.

Do yourself a favor and go to a collection facility (an independent one, not one associated with a particular laboratory), and ask for a 5 panel, Non-DOT laboratory drug test. It will probably cost you around $50, but you shoudl get your levels with it.

The tests sold for super cheap online ndo not offer a lab test, even those that do, usually just tell you either positive or negative. They don't give you exact levels about half the time.

QF will get you through no problem. Just practice to keep the temp right. And be sure to pickup another bottle for randoms.

I wanted to thank everyone for reading and replying. I didn't know if this belonged here or in the results thread (still a newbie here) but I wanted to pass along some info to other posters out here who may be in the situation I was in...

A little bit of news on my pre-employment testing... I really wanted more detailed info on my obvious fail...

I called the MRO's office and spoke to a really nice receptionist. I asked her if I could have my test results so that I could review them with my doctor. She said: "Hmmm...no one has ever asked that before, just one second."

She came back and said YES, but I had to send a written request along with my signature. I did, and today (6 days later) I get the result in the mail.

It says: Lab Result/Marijuana/Positive.
Quantity: 47.0000
ph: 6.1
Creatinine:65.2
Nitrite: NEG pH

I've looked all over the forum. Can someone please tell me what 47.0000 means? I am only familiar with the cut-off of 50, so any help would really be appreciated so I know where I am in having to stop until I get a new job.

Regardless of my failed test, I was very pleased and shocked that the company sent these results to me after I requested them. I imagine this is unusual...can someone fill me in on that as well?

It is unusual.

the 47 is 47 nanograms per milliliter of urine (ng/mL). The confirmation result is what you are looking at here. The cutoff for confirmation tests are 15 ng/mL. You were about 3 times that quantity of THC content in your urine.

The screening test at 50 ng/mL is only a yea or nay type of test and detects a combined total of about 32 specifically different metabolites of THC. The confirmation test done using a gas chromatography / mass spectrometry machine tests for only the most common metabolite. Hence the lower cutoff level.

Sec, I can't thank you enough for answering my question. It's really becoming easier to understand, but I do feel like my rights are being violated, but I know, it's just how it goes.

My urine traveled from Florida to Kansas to Indiana. My pee has been to places I haven't even been!

I am now 51 days MJ free. I'm gonna give myself a full 60 days and then home test.

Sec, do you think when I am able to smoke again my tolerance will be really low? I sure hope so!
