Statistics

Sex: Female

Height: 5'5"

Weight: 160lbs

Metabolism: About average... I exercise 3-4 times a week but have not in 1 1/2 weeks (will be 13 days on day of test) because I didn't know when my test would be.

Habit: haven't smoked in 10 mos., but smoked an eighth+ of medical grade marijuana over 32 days.

Last time I got High: 10/1/2008

Day of Drug Test: 10/20/2008

Home Test: Took one on Monday 10/13 and saw a "ghost line" without dilution

Supplements(since 10/1): I realize that some of these the jury is still out on but I figure it can't hurt. Niacin, Bentonite, took a potion drink last Tuesday (thought the test might be that day) and Pro-Cleanze 10 day detox. LOTS of water and have been abstaining from alcohol (as per the advice of the folks at my local smoke shop) but not coffee (against their advice, sorry!) though I have cut down to appx. a cup a day.

Nevermind the reasons why I smoked when I was looking for a job, I could attempt to justify myself, but I won't bore you with yet another sob story about something that can't be taken back.

I obtained some pot from a med student friend of mine (FOR FREE, and I ask, who turns down free medical grade pot?!) at the end of August. I smoked for 10 days and then took a break for 7 (was "detoxing" with water, bentonite, and niacin for those 7 days). Smoked the rest of my supply over 22 days. Got a call about a job interview the day after I ran out of pot (doesn't it always work that way, lol). So far I've been off the bud for 16 days and will be off for 19 when I go to take the test.

Okay there's the background, now here's the questions:

1. My test form says the following:
-Standard 10 and 5 panel (non-DOT) drug screen
-5 panel instant drug screen (this is the one I am required to take)
-DOT drug screen
-Collection for independent lab
-etc. etc... hair follicle and such

Is this going to be a 50ng/ml drug screen or a 15? I am fairly certain that I could pass a 50 by Monday but am less positive about a 15. I have 2 more at home drug tests that I will test myself with.

Note: according to the CareNow website the 5-panel instant drug screen takes 5 minutes to process. This seems very similar to the at-home tests you get from Wal-Mart. Do they make an instant 15 ng/ml test?

2. Does it help to take a drug test later in the day as opposed to earlier? The place is open until 10pm so I was planning to go as late as I could.

3. I am technically (according to the new member packet I received) allowed 14 days after the day of hire to get the drug screen but told the boss I would have it done by next Tuesday. What is your suggestion on attempting to extend this (by saying I lost the sheet or had an emergency come up or something)?

-I have read the dilution method sticky and plan to implement on the day of the screen if need be.
-Any additional advice you may be able to offer would be greatly appreciated!

Just wanted to give an update... I just took another drug test and failed... I was not diluted. I have a little over 24 hrs till the drug test and am still taking the detox. Is it possibly that there are more toxins in my urine because of the detox working to expel them?

I have another at home drug test I will take tomorrow before going to take my test. I am still considering saying that I didn't have time or something.

Any advice?

Yes. When taking this home test, be sure to use the first urination when you wake up in the morning. If youre results are still "dirty", then consider subbing for the actual U/A (see N2s Substitution sticky thread for tips). If subbing is somehow not possible, then your only other option would be diluting. Follow N2's Dilution sticky thread and if possible, try to schedule the U/A for the afternoon.
