Cool, Lew. Thanks for the quick reply and for pointing that out. I was reading the thread at about 1 am, so I am not surprised that I missed that bit.

Can I take it, then, that in your opinion there's no reason not to go with the quick fix? It's just as good for passing (ruling out the IgG (as no one's asked me to sign any extra release kind of anything)) as the powdered or frozen stuff?

Well guys, HR made a follow-up call to me to setup direct deposit and for what I thought was to ask me (again) if I had taken my test.
In explaining I was sending this in as we speak, I told them I had taken my test yesterday.
Her response?
"I know, so you are all set".
I simply said, "great, thank you", and hung up, not adding anything else to the conversation. This was at about 3:30pm today.

So I'm thinking, is that it? Is it possible they already got results??
Or could they have simply been notified that the test was taken by the testing center?
My test was at 2pm yesterday and was sent to a lab as I saw them pack it up to await pickup.

Has anyone ever seen results come in that fast on specimens that are not instant dip tests??
Test was 1793N SAP 9-50 GC/MS.

I know there is no definitive answer, but just thought I'd ask.

Yes, everyday we typically get results by 2:00 pm the following day. Usually between 2:00 and 4:00 are when all the results are in.

Also, even if the results aren't in from the lab or MRO, the collection facility will mail the employer copy of your test form to the employer so they know you tested even if they don't have the results.

SEC or Lew, can either of you guys give me some assurance that the using synthetics (like QF) is just as good as using a human frozen or powdered sample? Sorry to be needy on this, but the welfare of the family hangs in the balance....and thanks for all of the wonderful info.!!!

Quickfix is the way to go. It's better than powdered, because you can't screw up the mix. You'll be fine.

I did read all the success stories, but I have heard rumors about changes in what the tests look for and a lot of the info. on the thread was posted over a year ago, so I was/am a bit nervous about whether they could detect a "quick fix" solution.

I am hoping that by the time I get the call, I can walk in clean (over 2 weeks clean so far, and probably another 2 weeks before the test), but if things move faster, I want to know that I can pass it.

Having read all of the info., and with reassurances from folks like you guys and the guys at a local shop I visited over the weekend, I am feeling much better about the QF way. (The guy at the shop had a lot of personal experience and customer success stories, too.)

That said, there are some frozen (pre-filled/no mixing required) and powdered real pee products on the internet, and although its a bit more hassle to order them instead of grabbing some QF from the local shop, I'd be willing to do it if it provided more certainty in passing the test.

But it sounds as though no one seems to think it does.

Here is my story, for those who want another success story. I apologize in advance at the length but I feel I have to share it, considering how stressful (and relieving) the night was...

I originally tried the dilution method 2 weeks ago (I am basically tested every week, usually unmonitored--more on that later) and failed, failed, and more fail. I think it was because I was using for a loooong time and I even used on my drive to provide urine. With that said, I knew I was going to have another test administered yesterday.

I read the forums (every single page of the 100+ pages) and felt pretty comfortable. First, I acquired a 4 oz bottle shampoo bottle from the drug store, wore 3 pairs of tight boxers, and found my potential sponsor. After explaining the situation to him, he agreed; he provided the sample and I filled the bottle with about 3.5 oz.

I knew the test was going to take place around 6:30 pm and so I left work around 5pm and heated the bottle in a water bath that I had preheated for 20 seconds in the microwave. After warming the urine and bottle, I put it under my balls for the 45 minute drive. Here's where the first problem came up--I stopped at around 5:45pm at a 7-11 to grab a soda and, upon standing up from my driver's seat, the bottle shifted and nearly fell out. This was causing absolute hell on my already anxious demeanor. I repositioned it and grabbed the soda.

Stressing super hard, I got to the facility around 6:20, hoping to give the urine right away because I could feel the bottle literally falling out. I was basically doing a "penguin walk" to try and keep the bottle secured. Actually, I walked into the bathroom as soon as I got there in an effort to position the bottle better and it nearly fell out again--there were a few other people in the bathroom at the time and while they didn't see it, they must have thought I was having a nervous breakdown, since I was basically holding it by my knee and shaking like a leaf. Once they left the bathroom, I entered one of the stalls, hiked my multiple boxer shorts up, and better positioned it. I will go with real tighty whiteys next time, and not the more fashionable, but less functional, body-hugging boxers.

6:30 comes and goes and the woman who is supposed to administer the test is in a counseling session with someone else. I decide that I am going to grab the specimen container with my name on it and fill it. I do just that, unsupervised, being relieved as hell as how easy that was. Note: since the bottle was so big, I had a lot of urine left. Just in case (thank GOD I did this), I kept the remaining urine in the container and kept the container under my balls.

2 hours goes by and the woman comes in and asks where my urine is. I explain that I already gave it and she says "oh, sorry honey, you need to give it again." I ask if I can give it right away and she says, DOOOOH, "you need to give it under supervision." I swear, I thought my heart was going to explode. But I wasn't about to give up and I knew they thought they had me, since her "not finding" my urine really made no sense (she had it in her hand).

The question, though, was how the hell was I going to substitute with this individual watching us. I knew there had to be a way. 10 oclock rolls around and a few other males line up to provide their supervised urine (strangely enough, I have been giving urine once a week, at least, and never seen supervised urine--it must be something they do randomly). I originally ran in the bathroom right away, thinking I could fill the cup before he even came in to supervise but thought that would look too sketchy. Instead, I told him that I needed to drink a little bit of water and it shouldn't take me more than 10-15 minutes. He is watching the others and suddenly realizes he needs to get paper towels. Bam, now was my time! I run in, unscrew the cap, fumble with my container (literally spilling urine all over my shirt, pants' legs, toilet bowl, etc) and fill the cup. The temperature gauge on the side read above 90 degrees so I quickly sealed the cup and ran it to the supervisor as he was walking back to the bathroom. Fortunately, I don't think he realized how much the other supervisor was concerned about my specimen. I asked if he needed anything else, to which he said "nope, just seal it up" which I happily did.

So, two sub club episodes in 1 night. I have to say, I got lucky. I don't know if I will have to be supervised again but, if so, does anyone have any advice on how to get past that one? Wow, all I can say is that someone was on my side (well, that and my confidence level was incredibly boosted by all the helpful info in this thread)...

Hey all im new to posting but visit these forums a few times a week, I have just a quick question. I'm going to be taking a drug test for a job probably this week if not early next. I bought a bottle of quickfix 5.7 about a month and a half ago but never used it so I put it in the freezer. Should I practice with the one I got and buy a new a few hours before the test? Im nervous this one may not work. I need it to stay warm for possibly up to 3hrs but more then likely atleast 2, about a hour to get there and who knows after. Any suggestions would be great!
