I have never had a drug test before and now I have to take one for a pre-employment screening. I have heard that the employment drug tests HAVE to be UNsupervised and that only probation tests are supervised... is this true? If it is I will use N2's method for sure.

It is extreemly rare for any kind of employment urine test to be observed. Gennerally only court ordered test are observed. Hope that helps. N2

Hi, I am kind of new to this, 47 and last week was the first time I have ever been drug tested.

I went for the substitution method. I had a friend mail me a clean sample, but it sat for a week at room temp before I submitted it. Opps.

The temp was 96 when I brought it to the nurse and that part was OK, and my future employer wanted rapid results and the nurse dropped the urine into a tester in front of me and everything was negative.

The rest of the sample I presume was sent to a lab.

My questions are;

Will the 1 week old urine cause a problem?

If the bottle I used was not sterile, will that cause a problem?

This was last Friday and I reported to work today, I guess I will find out soon.

If anyone knows the answers to my questions please let me know.

In orientation today I found that it is company policy to escort employees if a second test is needed. That means I would need to carry a ready sample with me and a heat source if I were to try to pass a second test.

I am taking a test and need to know how to prevent the condom from exploding. I tested over and over and the condom never exploded, but I am concerned about the test and I just want to be SURE the condom won't explode at the lab. Also, which is better? A condom or a shampoo bottle? By that I mean which one holds the temp better? I'd like to thank you all for these posts, this is all very helpful. THANKS!

Well after extensive research on this page and several others I decided to go with the urinator, along with the uncle john's syn urine sold on the page. Also got an order of quick fix, but I'm still waiting delivery of that. Anyway, after initial inspection, the urinator is pretty big. Now the questions:

1) Does anyone have any suggestions on how/where to hide the urinator..besides wearing sweat pants?

2) I've read that: "Even if they don't watch you they can still mark the form for suspicion and the test will get a 2nd verification test, (this usually happens when you are noticeably smuggling an object, take too long or have a sample that is clear.)"..... If I'm noted for being suspect, what is the secondary test? the GC/MS? If so, Uncle John's or similar syn should still pass correct? or would they test to see if a syn was used?

I've read all about the small bottles and stuff, but want something as fool-proof as possible, as if I get picked for a radom test, I will be super nervous. Thanks guys!!

crash94536, THere have been reports of urine that old pseeong, but I would like to hear your results. It certainly isn't recomended. As far as the escorted to the collection. Carry a bottle of Quick Fix at all times at work. If you are escorted, all you need do is move the bottle from pocket to crotch. Tell them you can't go and start drinking water wgile body heat warms the QF. After about 30 minutes, when the sample reacges body temps, you can tell teme you think you can supply a sample and use the QF.

JLS1727, Condoms won't explode. As for whether a condom or 2ox plastic bottle is better, it's a matter of personal prefferance. I personally prefer the bottle, but you may prefer the condom.

1.Try it wearing several defferent style of pants to see which conceals best. You can akso wear a T-shirt, untucked, to cover any slight bulges.
2. Dr Johns will pass ANY drug test. I have no clue about any second test.

I got my quick fix today and am ready to start to practice to get it to the right temp. I got a digital themometer as well so I can read the temp. What would someone recomend for practicing, can I use this quick fix, heat it and will it still work or should I use something else?

You can practice with the QF. It can be warmed and rewarmed as many time as you like. Heating it will not hurt it. N2

Alright...I've had about 10 piss tests and have substituted on pretty much every one so far. Today was my last one and I ****ed up. I got clean urine from a friend but she could only produce a little bit, so I figured I would fill the rest up with water. Well, stupid me spilled some of the piss so when I got there I put what I had in the cup then I pissed in the toilet...I drank 3 beers before I came (not a good idea on my part) so I really had to go. I put the last few drops of my piss (I went in the toilet then in the cup) and then I put a little bit of water from the faucet in there. So I'd say the ratio would be 2/5 clean urine, 2/5 water, and 1/5 my piss. It still wasn't alot...(reached the top of the little thermometer on the cup), but they said it was okay. So they accepted it, but now I'm just scared ****less that they might detect THC, or more likely, the alcohol. What are my chances of passing?

I really hope it works out because this was my frickin LAST ONE, and I don't want to have to take anymore!

Hi, me again.

I posted the story about substituting a friends urine that was stored for a week at room temperature.

Well, it was Friday when I was tested. They used a rapid test (dropped into a plastic device which took about 90 seconds to answer) which I passed. But they also retained the rest of the sample after completing the rapid test. She labeled the sample and I am guessing it was sent in for a second test. I am guessing that the age of the urine was acceptable, I have not been contacted and I still have my job.

If I don’t post again that means they didn’t fire me and the one week old urine stored at room temperature was accepted (that is assuming it was tested a second time).
