I'm a bit confused. I've taken a few tests for my treatment program, and the cup never had a temperature strip or anything on it...just plastic. Is it possible that some don't do this, or am I missing something? Obviously I still want the pee to be warm, but maybe I don't have to be really uptight about exact temperature.

Luckily I can use my own pee since I've been clean for two months...it's just that I don't want to wait any longer, haha.

I'm going for a drug test on Thursday morning. My buddy is going with me and when we arrive at the drug test site he is going to piss in the container for me. My question is if i'm right there when it opens how long till they take me back for my drug test and if i keep it inside two whity tighties like mentioned before should i stay at a good temperature?....Thanks for everythign

Ok... I've read this entire thread and am excited to try this method for an upcoming test.

I have two questions:

1. I am a man... Am I correct in assuming that a pregnant woman's urine is no different than synthetic Quick FIx in the case of a drug test?

2. What are DOT guidelines?

I am going for an employment test which uses EIA. Not really sure what DOT guidelines are... I'm not applying for a job at the Department of Transportation if it means that!

(oops third question!)

And what if the place I'm testing at (Quest) requires more than 2 ounces even though Quick Fix only come in 2 oz. bottles?

You need to substitute. With your usage and size, you chances of passing, IMHO with dilution is less that 50/50.

1 YES. A drug test does not test for pregancy harmones.
2 Department Of Transportation (DOT) urine drug testing guirelines for testing anyone in a "safty sensitive" possission in transportation.

3 No 'lab' that I amaware of requires more than a 60ml/2oz sample to test. DOT only require 45ml sample and many non-DOT test require only 30ml. Collectors on the other hand, like to tell you that the want you to "fill' The collection cup. Only to pour all the excess back into the toilet.

I was wondering if this has happened to anyone. I went in for a pre employment drug test and was using the sub method. So I go in to take the drug test, just barely have enough clean urine, so I finish pouring it in and go give it to the nurse and she says I have to do it again because there is no temperature. She then proceeds to tell me I have to take the test again, only this time being observed by a male nurse. Knowing that I would fail with flying colors, I bail because there is no use of sticking around. I was just wondering whether it might be possible that I can be given another drug test or whether the company will just accept this as failure. Thanks!

Just a few quick questions... Ive read all the post but want to double check. It would be ok to get a sample from a friend at night and freeze it for the next morning, correct? Just want to make sure the pee doesnt get affected by this process. Any suggestions on water temp to thaw? Also, one more... sorry. If I practice freezing my own (dirty) urine in the 2oz bottle, would any thing in my urine (after cleaning with soap/water) stay in the bottle by the time I use my friends clean urine? Sorry, but just want to make sure I do this 100% correctly
