| Thanks N2---NEVER would have considered substituting until i came to this forum. I am an RN with a pre-employment screen that I had recently---It was so easy. You are so right---why chance it ANY other way! Thanks! |

| N2: Well that certainly does help! I appreciate your insight. I guess it's just my inate fear of the consequences that cause me to be completely paranoid. In regards to testing the QF, it isn't the lack of drugs in it that worries me, it is whether QF as a syn urine can be differentiated from authentic human urine. This is my scare! I have ALLOT riding on this! My current license as a RN! If it were merely the job, that is of no consequence as being a RN there are endless opportunities! The failed urine test is automatically reported to the Board of Nursing (to all places you have been licensed ...I have 4 states), who immediately imposes discipline and the dreaded "rehab program alternative to revocation" .... 3 YEARS OF RANDOM TESTING!! (They typically use HAIR!) My boyfriend (a new grad RN) has recently tested with a "Clear Choice" (www.cleartest.com) and failed miserably. It was on my suggestion that he use this as I had a year previously and passed just fine. This has made him more than paranoid about any method to "beat the bladder cops" except abstinance. Trying to explain to him everything I have learned on here hasn't convinced him of its efficacy. It has turned into a huge personal problem between us, coupled with my lack of THC, the situation is far from good. Sorry such a long post, but my nerves easily get the best of me ....that's why I'm such a medicinal marijuana advocate (NORML member, under pseudo-name given my profession) Help!? |

| Clear Choice green tea is simply a $34 pot of green tea. Wish you had known about substitution because dilution is always more risky. If you want to have a lab test done on a sample of QF, go ahead. There will likely be several collection sites in your local yellow pages under 'drug testing'. Call and ask how much, then after you choose, substitute the QF just as you would for some license drug test. Generally, a lab test will run $40 and up. I did find a lab initial screen only for $15 at a rehab collection spot. TASC was the name of the place. As fare as distingishing synthetic from human, there is only 1 test I am awary of that is used in urine validity testing that will flag a synthetic sample. Craig Medical claims that this dipstick will spot synthetics. http://www.craigmedical.com/Urine_ID_test.htm Couple of problems. the IgG test seems to be a simple genetic test for IgG. As a genetic test, you would need to sign a genetic test concent form, in addition to the drug test C&C form. But then you may know more about testing concent forms than I do. There are NO labs I currently know of that use IgG as part of their urine validity checks. Having said all that, Quick Fix (http://www.urineluck.com/products/7.html)does not have IgG, but Dr Johns does (http://www.urinator.com/). Hope that helps. N2

I had your same questions. Test your QF if that will make you feel better. But im confident if you take N2s advise you will pass the test and be a wonderful nurse.

I guess to put it on a personal note, I carry Quick Fix, so I'm not expecting any IgG test. Hope that helps. N2

| Hey guys (especially N2), this site is great. I have a pre-employment drug test for a major Wall Street bank on Tuesday. I haven't smoked in 10 weeks. When I was clean for 8 weeks, I took a home test and sent it off for confirmation of a preliminary THC positive (the red line was VERY faint). The result came back positive (19 ng/ml where the cutoff is 15 ng/ml). I took another home test today and the red strip is still very faint. To be on the safe side, I ordered The Urinator from urinator.com along with the synthetic urine they sell on that site. Has anyone ever successfully used the synthetic stuff from that site? I see alot of talk on here about Quickfix, but that's not what I've got. If this stuff isn't good, does anyone know any shops in NYC that sell Quickfix? |

| I'm no lawyer, but to me 40.13 c means no IgG testing and d means that doing a Multistix® 10SG Reagent Strip test, on any leftover urine, for a DOT fitness physical is OK. http://www.dot.gov/ost/dapc/NEW_DOCS...rt_b/40_13.pdf :!) N2 |
