I just took my piss test , i used quick fix synthetic urine. It stayed at the correct temperatures. 90-100 degrees. I had a close call i dropped the cap on the floor but i dont think the lady noticed. Now i gotta play the waiting .

But im pretty sure i passed

One quick question, I know the temperature strip is 90-100*, but wouldn't closest to body temperature be the best ...the high 90s?

96 degrees (at the sample cup, not the sub container) would be ideal IMO. But as long as its within the range of 90-100 deg, they have to accept it.

Well I got my results today and passed! Big thanks to N2 and everyone else with tips. As long as you follow the suggestions and PRACTICE, you will be fine. I also had a physical and used the "I really gotta go" line on the guy. Worked like a charm! Thanks again from a new member of the "sub club".

I tried the condom in the crotch technique and the water seemed to cool down way too fast both times I tried. The thermometer wouldnt even pick up a reading it was too cold. I tried using a lighter and a small plastic container that doesnt melt to heat the liquid and it works great. I think this will work as long as I can smuggle the container in. BTW this is a pre-employment test so I'll be alone in the bathroom I am guessing.

I just joined the sub club. HOOOOYAH! I cant think of another time when my hand was shaking that badly. I put the thermometer in the cup and it was hitting each side of the cup like crazy. I was pretty happy that I practiced soo much with the 4oz shampoo bottle and Slurpee Cup I used to keep it heated. The final reading was 98.6 degrees! The lady said the results were negative and I had to think about what negative meant for about 3 seconds.

Do they ask for ID when you go for pre-employment screening at a lab, or clinic? Why not just have my brother go in and say he is me and pee in the cup?

A thermometer inside the collection site is a necessity. first, you have to be sure your sample temp is around 105. It's safer to start from the top than find yourself using lighters in there. What do you do when the temp is below range? dump it and piss your own??

You'll lose 5 degrees or so when you dump from your container to theirs. Then you can check the temp (and you don't need a minute to start seeing the thermometer slow down and approximate what it will end up at).

I just took a test three days ago and there was NO temp strip anywhere on the bottle. that's scary and grodie! The tech took the temp after I handed it to her.

You can disable the speaker on the thermometer by sliding out the inner structure and cutting one of the wires to the speaker.

I handed it at 99 and by the time she took her reading it was 98.4; ideal.

The key to this is keeping it at a constant even temp from the time you leave to get there until you dump. This will vary depending on the weather, so you have to take readings like a mother and average them out to find out your how you need to tweak yourself. Those heating pads for injuries will give you a constant 112, then you can cover your carrying equipment with layers of whatever you like until it stays at 105 like a machine.

That's why you need a silent digital thermometer in there. It gives you control all the way to the end so you can get out of a sticky situation. Especially if you don't have a temp strip stuck to the cup. (you can also use the thermometer tip to stir and blow if it's too hot).

I'm not saying you're wrong, i'm just saying they're pullin' the ol' switcharoo on the temps strips and now the strategy needs to change, as well.

You need a thermometer in there. A silent one.

I just got home from my court ordered drug test for my terms of probation and i successfully used my buddy's clean piss. Now im in the sub club. I wanna thank N2 mostly cuz man you know your stuff on this matter. I used one of those contact lens drop bottles, it is 3 oz. i put 1 air acticvated heat pad around the bottle and crotched it. when i went to take the test the thermometer on the cup read 100 degress farenheit. The testing lady didnt seem to mind, the first time i went to this place and used my own piss it was 96 degrees. She told me i passed and i was on my way...........
