The "man" was trying to throw a scare at you, and he could get into trouble doing that. Drug testing devices don't have the ability to determine sex or testos levels. It would take genetic analysis to make that determination. Any form of genetic testing is outside the scope of drug testing and therefore, labs are prohibited from conducting such tests without the donors written authorization. The authorization is made on an entirely seperate and explicit consent form.

Who was this "man" that told you this, and what is the name of the testing facility?

What are things i can do at home to pass a drug test, that is 4 days away at 9 am. i'v been clean for 5 days so far and i drink like 4-6 gallons of water a day. Does this work or will i get in trouble. also i drank like 3 gallons of cranberry juice. i want to pass without having to go out and buy a bunch of stuff. Will what im doing work and what does anyone suggest.

P.S. will the person giving me the test say it is diluted and if so what can i do at home to fix that. My email is damon_day420@hotmail.com please give me some tips.

I have a CDL and drive for a living, smoke regularly. The last two times I was tested, (pre employment& Random) I used Quick fix. I have used it in the past without trouble. But this new lab I went to Uses a bigger collection cup than Ive seen before. The lab tec said "fill it up to here", pointed to a line on the cup. As in the past, I used the quick fix in the collection cup. When the lab tec saw the cup she said "I don't think you gave enough". She made a big deal about the amount. But when she poured it into the actual sample cup it filled it right to the line. She said "that was close, it was Just enough". This same senerio happened twice at the same place. The same lady did the second sample 4 months later.

My concurn is that she has to know what to watch out for, with subsitution and all. when and if I return to this lab, and again the sample comes right exactly to the line, even after asking for more than needed for the sample. She will know something is up with this guy!

Since you are a CDL carrier and driving for a living, you'll fall under DOT guidelines. With DOT testing, guidelines and protocols have to be adhered to by the clinic personnel, otherwise the test results are deemed void.
DOT regs require only 45 ml of sample. As long as you supply at least 45 ml of sample, the techs have no business making a stink about it. The QF, being at 2 oz, is more than enough.

I am so nervous!!!!!!!This week I went on an interview and I knew that they did a drug screen and I figured I would just sub my own with my friend's daughters urine. I also am in nursing school and I knew that we would eventually have to take a grug screen for clinicals but not this soon. Monday our teacher says that we need to take our drug screens if possible by the end of the week. Then Tuesday I go ont he job interview and I get the job, but its contigent upon my drug screen. Now I am a heavy smoker so I knew that diluting was out of the question, I didnt want to take my chances with detox stuff, and so I knew that subbing would be my final choice. After reading this site for about 10 hours yesterday I chose to try the subbing method using a condom. So this morning I go to the urgent care to take my drug test and physical (for the job I have to take a physical 2) And they had a 3 hour wait!! So the receptionist asked if I would mind coming back first thing in the morning at 7:30 tomorrow. So yea i'm gonna go but that just gave me another day to be all nervous. And yes I have practiced like 20 times today with water and I tested the urine's temp when I got back home from the urgent care and that was a hour later and the temp was 97.5. I guess thats a good sign that I know what I am doing but I am still nervous. So therefor I had 2 smoke all day 2 keep my nerves right!! Anyone have any words of wisdom, hope, anything???

You already practiced and the temp was ok just make sure the urine is fresh. If you can get a fresh sample for the test.

This place is awesome!! Very informative....hope you guys can help me too. Here's a scenario, please give your opinion.
Hubby thaws the frozen urine under hot tap water for a few minutes, then puts it in a cup of coffee, drives for about 30 minutes. Outside the testing facility, he takes it out of the coffee and puts it in his underwear. If he has to wait less than 5 minutes once inside, will it be too hot?

Also, if he doesn't use coffee, but water heated up in the microwave, how many seconds or minutes should he put it in the microwave for?
