I understand the quantity issue, my concern is on the amount of nanograms that they are going to be looking for. Some places i have read that all tests no matter what only look for 50ng's or higher. And other places i have read that if the ng's are above 15 they will prelim it. My understanding of the nanogram situation is that they pull that ng. info off the metabolic parts and that's how they determine a + or a -.. Not as though it matters much, but i was just curios.

So, is it safe to say, there will NOT be a dip test done in front of me, will i not know the results right there on the spot like other testers i have read about on here?

I got to thinking a bit about my situation with being subject to randoms throughout the course of the class, and i cant imagine them doing a collection in the classroom. I would probably be told to go over to the clinic. In that case i could just keep the sub in my car on ice all the time right?

Edit:, I just found the Quick Fix site, and just wondering, but they indicate on there that the QF4.0 is for nicotine testing, there just saying that for legal purposes right?
Also, is there a "truckers testimony" to this stuff out there that any one knows about? It would be nice to read stories about others experience with this stuff.

There is NEVER a DOT regulated "Instant" test. Go to www.dot.gov and learn the procedures that are REQUIRED to be used for ALL DOT collections and testing. You can either see one of my previous posts or do a search on the DOT website for 49CFR, Part 40.

You are subject to random testing while in class, but while your name might be drawn, there has to be a degree of privacy, so they should not call you OUT of class for a drug test. You are correct that they probably will just give you 20 minutes (for example) to report to a given collection site.

Someone else must comment on the substitution questions.

Hey N2. Thanks for the dilution strategies. They paid off big time for me. I'm a good person and an outstanding worker and it would have been a real shame for me to have failed my test. Thanks to your advice I was able to test clean. Your info can really have a huge impact on people's lives and futures and careers. Thanks chieftan. Well, any takers?
I am growing concerned about the test again, I have read a bit more about the testing it self, and now I'm curios to know whether or not there may be a problem with the QF4.0 in the area of gravity levels.
My current levels that where recorded on my long form for my DOT physical where 1.025, don't they have to match?
I don't know a damn thing about the lab work it self, but i am trying to learn more about it.
So, i probably shouldn't worry to much, it seems as though subbing with QF4.0 is what most people in the trucking industry do hu?
I just ask cuz i want to learn as much about it as any one of you are willing to share!
Any one on here ever done the extreme subbing that athletes do? The draining your bladder and injection clean urine in? That just sounds nuts!

Hello there everyone, this is my first post. N2 you are really a help to everyone and thanks for your continued posts. I have read this whole thread but still have a few questions. I am 5'6 and weigh over 200lbs. My breasts are huge and I can really hold anything up under them. I ordered (2) Quick Flush and I was wondering if I carried it to work under my boobs everyday, (random testing is starting this month), would the temp. be right regardless of if they tested me onsite or sent me to a lab, and how many times can I heat and re-heat Quick Flush over again for it to still be good?? Years ago I used a testube under my breast with clean urine in it and it was good temp. from just sitting under my boobs in the crack, and it passed no problem. I am in Law Enforcement and have been for over 10 years, but they just started this random teasting thing now. Am worried, but definitely going to sub to save my job. Any responses would be helpful. I do not know when they will random me, but it is by a supposed number system, like the military, thats why I need to know if carrying it to work under my boobs everyday will keep the Quick Flush good?? Thanks again

Hey guys, I'm going to sub for my test in a couple days, but I need to get the clean sample from a friend the night before the test. Will it be okay if I just put it in the fridge for 15-20 hours and warm it before the test? Would it be better to freeze it? Thanks for all the tips.

Hey, i just got my QF4.0 in, and i have 2 questions.
1: What is the shelf life on this stuff, and should i refrigerate it?
2: I don't recall seeing if this stuff was DOT bullet proof. Any one out there ever use it to pass a DOT urinalysis?

There is a expiration on the bottle, don't refrigerate it.

Hey, just got back from the testing lab. This was a joke, they fumbled around, couldn't find the right forms, ended up writing things down on post it notes, and said they would write it in latter, i demanded that they find the correct forms and do it there and then.
When i came out of the bathroom, the RN was gone, she went to get a soda.
Waited 2.5 minutes for her to get back, by then the temp was pretty low, she just felt the side of it and said, "feels warm to me!" and marked the yes box.
They separated the piss into the two containers, and made me initial it.
Then that was that!
Now i have to wait for the rest of the crew to get done with it.
I have very little concern at this point. If that stuff works for others in a DOT situation, I'm sure it will work for me!
