Because I'd rather spend my money on smoke, and not on something that I can do on my own for a few bucks! That and a time factor comes into play sometimes too I'm sure, if you can't get to a head shop or wait for shipping, sometimes the easiest thing to do is what has been stated in this thread.

I have a pre employment screen that can happen at any time now, since I have smoked daily for the past 5 years I have decided to sub for the test. I have 2-2 oz bottles with clean samples stored in the freezer. Since I only live about 10 minutes from work I think I can run by and heat the samples to 100 tuck in and go. I also have a good digital thermometer ready. Have practiced with the bottle and feel I can keep it secure under a pair of underwear.

Questions are;
can I heat the sample in a microwave for 30-45 seconds to get it started melting or should I just heat the sample by running hot water over it? Will the microwave hurt the sample?

Am I missing anything? Don't want to make a big deal of this but I have a lot to gain (mostly money) by getting this job.

nodope, I would try heating it in a cup/glass of warm water. From what I have read on here the microwave won't hurt it, but others have suggested that the cup of hot water works better.
You shouldn't have any trouble substituting...I just did it and I start my job this Monday!
I hope it all turns out well for you. Trust the people on this site, they know what they are talking about. I was nervous as he_ _, but it worked.

I am the newest sub club member!! I used quick fix 4.0, put it in the microwave before I left for the test (the directions that come with it are right on), tucked it in my bra and went to the lab. No one came in, no one stood by the door. I pulled it out, poured it in, put it back in my bra and finished up in the bathroom. The girl at the lab was really nice, she went over what the test would look for and had me sign some papers. She even went so far as to say "I'm sure you have nothing to worry about, you don't look the part"!! Ha Ha, what do stoners look like???
Anyway, thanks to N2, Cosmo, and Grillmeats...I owe you! I know that I will never be able to repay you guys, but if ever I can, you bet I will! I'll return to the boards now and again to see if I can help anyone else who is fretting over the dreaded "urine test".

I was wondering if the board was dead. My employers have told me that I will be tested but not when...I hate that. I've got two clean samples sitting in the freezer waiting. I've been practicing but come the day I'm sure I'll still be nervous as hell.

nodope ~ I would run your sample under hot water to unfreeze it, then put in a cup of hot water like OldSmoker said, to heat it! I think the heating process in the microwave, might make it smell funny!

hello all glad to find this site i have learned alot. i need some help i have a test coming up not sure when but no later than the 28th. probably really soon though. i was a heavy smoker for years and recently quit 2 weeks ago when i learned job gives urinalsys or urine test

, i am5'7 and weight about 108lbs. i have been drinking water and cranberry juice just started taking green tea fat burner pills but recently they arent helping. i am pretty sure i wont be clean so was considering subbbing with someone elses urine but the only person i can find that is totally clean is a male and im female i read that they cant tell male from female is this true with labcorp as well.

really like this job make good money and really need it. so should i be ok with the male specimen?

Its true with any lab. Drug testing devices do not have the ability to distinguish gender so therefore, the gender of the donor is not relevant. Any human sample can be used as a sub as long as its known to be toxin-free and not over-hydrated.
