O.k, my turn.. If I can get clean urine, why bother with qf?, and is there a diff between qf and cleartest @ cleartest.com?? they are both synthetic urines. T.I.A - great site. Practice seems to be the key here. Just stuck a 2 oz shampoo bottle where its should be, not too bad I guess., not great but tolerable. Is 2oz enuf?? cleartest sends you 4ozs for 36.00 as opposed to qf 2oz for 30.00..

Hi...I wanted to share my story of subsitution...after reading this thread and after a LOT of research and realizing that I wouldn't pass no matter what detox I would do (I'm a big girl, whateva), I decided to spend the $ and get the urinator.

It was a dream. No fuss no muss. I went to a Quest place in Brooklyn. Now, this is my dream job and it pisses me off that some cokehead can pass a test after a couple of days (no judging about your lifestyle, just the truth), but someone who smokes pot in their off time since they are 18 (I'm 32) and is more than competent in their duties may not be able to get a job they want because they enjoy the delicacies of a natural weed. You know, I'd rather be a pothead than anything else. Anyway, they didn't watch me. There was dye all over the seat. She closed the door and told me not to flush. The most important thing is practice, practice, practice. I was quite diligent because I had everything to lose and everything to gain at the same time. It's so stupid, but it's true. I practiced with the outfit I was going to wear. I wore and extra set of undies to pull down, in case they were watching out of the corner of their eye. I went over every scenario, with the help of some wonderful friends. And it was the easiest thing I've ever done!

Freak out if you have to...even after reading all of these, you most likely will...but relax. Pretend you are in a scene of a movie and you are acting. The person "taking" the exam is not you! It's synthetic! Be synthetic! Don't give them any reason to doubt you. Put a smile on your face. It's easier than you think.

I passed the temp test using Quick Fix. I know I am golden (no pun intended).

If you have the $ for the urinator, spend it. If you don't, just get the quick fix. It's truly a blessing. I have never been so thankful for the wonders of technology!

Quick fix can be heated multiple times. Normal urine...maybe but I wouldn't count on it. The benefit you get from quick fix is that you won't have to worry if its clean or too old. If you can get clean urine you will need 2 ozs minimum, put it in the freezer as soon as you can.

I don't know the different between cleartest and QF - I'm guessing they are very similar. 2 ozs is enough.

Let the games begin. It's time to practice!! Found a "nice" 2 oz. bottle at CVS, bought a "fever reader", this is a strip thermo. Filled the bottle with some water, at first I didn't get a reading, this thermo starts at 95-104. Stuck the bottle between the scrote and thigh, after 10 minutes I was reading 96. 1hr later I'm at 98.6, 2 hrs still 98.6 seems to be holding that temp pretty good. I'm wearing 1 pair of briefs not boxers. Almost ready for prime time. If no ones watching should be a cake walk as reported repeatadly. I have a week to go so plenty of time to practice. I found the round 2oz bottles uncomfotable compared to the "flatter" ones. Guess that's personal preference. I don't see many posts describing the "type" of bottle used. i2007

Just wanted to let y'all know that I passed and I am off to New Mexico for my job! woohoo it is a great opportunity. It is so easy after you practice the temp thing.

The big issue is, is your donor 100% clean? Again, since you won't just be tested for THC, you will be hit with at least THC, Opiates & Amphetamines panel tests...the 10 panels will test for every subsections of those including known "designer drug" blends. If your donor is your Aunt Gladys and you know she hasn't had a doobie since Woodstock, you better be just as sure she hasn't moved on to the Columbian Marching Powder instead, because you'd really would have a red face then..

With the synthetic stuff, you know 100% that the donation is clean. Its been mixed and prepped and ready to good, and all you need to do is wear tighter undies to keep it snug and warm. If its a matter of just spending the money, trust me, you rather blow $40 now for a better paying job than save that $40 and it'll wind up being the last $40 you get until unemployment kicks in.

Usually the difference in price is due to whether or not the solution is premixed (heat n go) or it's 2 vials of powder and a bottle and heating element. I like the premix simply for the ease of use. Once done, keep the bottle and move on. The other stuff is probably better for those that know they will be subject to random testing. 2-4 oz is just enough, most of the cups will have a line on them on how much of a 'donation' they want...just give that and a bit more. They wont begrudge you an extra few tablespoons and it looks a lot more natural than giving them EXACTLY 30mL.

At the very least you'll still will want to buy a few extra handwarmersfrom a sporting goods store or Walmart/KMart store to have on hand. The ones that come with QF work, but the sport ones tend to get hotter and are more likely to have enough charcoal in it to provide enough heat. They're are relativly cheap, for $5 or less you can get 4-6 of them easy. And if you need another bottle, you can find the travel sized stuff in the store to practice with.

Okay so what are you telling me here? I ordered the QF. They ship ya 2 oz's for 40.00, should I have ordered more afer I've been told a few times 2 is enuf? I've been practicing w/ a 2oz bottle of water and even at room temp. I put it between my stuff and I hit 98.6 in an hour and a half, so now I got the temperature control down. I know that as long as I keep it where it should be it'll stay at 98.6, now you got me worried that 2oz isn't enough??. The source I am sure is clean, except maybe for high blood pressure medication. Do I need more than 2 oz?? should I start practicing with a 3oz bottle?. So to summarize. Fits nice between the scrote and and thigh. I can keep it at 98.6. I ordered 2oz's of QF. Am I missing something?? I was convinced I was good to go..

I guess it depends where you go and how much water the QF requires you to mix. Quest Diagnostics was 100 mls. What I purchased required me to mix the file of liquid into 3oz of water. It must of equaled more than 90mls, so I barely made it. She accepted it any how and I passed.

Hmmmm.. So I guess QF isn't a sure thing. If they want more than 2 oz's you're screwed. , so why is it that they only ship you 2 oz's for 40.00??. Sounds like the cleartest or a clean speciman is the way to go if you want to be sure. It sure would suck walking in with a 2oz bottle only to find out they need more.

If you had to mix it yourself, you did not use Quick Fix synthetic. QF already comes premixed. Do not add water..

2 oz of urine is enough for any U/A. The collector may ask for more, only to discard the excess.
