I purchased 2 tests by 2 different manufactures and tested myself on 2 different days. The first was in the evening and the second was in the morning...at first elimination. Both were negative. Each of these tests say that they are 99.9% accurate. If anyone has taken any of the home tests that informed them that they were negative...and the tests were wrong, would you mind posting the manufacturer of the product? Thank you,

You should be all set. Those tests are pretty accurate.

so, i failed test #1 (marijuana only)... my employer doesn't seem too upset- but he did say that i will be paying for a retest in 30 days. i have come very close to buying all the gadgets and crap that is available online. i feel much more confident that this will not become a 2 or 300 dollar problem.
i have a great brother and access to clean urine. i can fill up quite a few bottles now and freeze them for another rainy (no pun intended) day.
i am much less worried about the temp regulation... wal-mart is getting some of my money tomorrow for all the preps.
the more i think about it, though, the more i wonder if i will be monitored. as i said, the boss is cool- and i don't believe they will call labcorp or anything like that. all my confidence will evaporate if i am monitored. can i still make it work with a bottle and some crotch-heat? does claiming pee-shy get you anywhere. i have spent six hours reading every single page on this forum. i have not seen this question addressed. i live in florida if that makes a difference. labcorp is the facility.
the frozen urine is good for a year? that is awesome- but if anyone knows otherwise, please share. i work in a medical facility; appropriate supplies are not a worry (airtight specimen cup, even IV sets and lines).
everyone is right on about the 60mL's... they did not watch me the first time and i did not see a male working at all... aquarium thermometer on the side- it looked like it measured only 90-100... not above or below) i am comfortable with good access to urine and keeping my head straight... and if i get anything from reading this, it is too be freaking cool when you are there. i will have scrubs on and i will do six billion test runs to find the container's sweet spot, temp, etc.
i consider myself very fortunate to have a second chance and i just want to be prepared. it sounds like we have a technician at a dx lab in here- i would be very interested to know the protocols for retest and what the odds of having someone looking over my shoulder.
i cannot say thank you enough for all the info here- and some of these posts are hilarious. you should have something set up for donations for all the people out there like me that almost blew a whole lot of money on not much. thank you. i will make a point of detailing what works for me.

Long time lurker, new poster.

This is my story about my first ever pre-employment drug screen.

I tested myself on Day 8 of abstaining, came up clean. Did a re-test on Day 15 (day I was going to the clinic to take the test) and came up dirty. Mildly freaked out, but I was prepared and had a bottle of QF stashed away I.C.E. Decided to wait to go to the clinic until the next day.

Decided after a test run of crotching the QF bottle that it was too big. Went to Wal-Mart and picked up a travel hairspray (it was the only bottle bigger than 1.7oz) and travel shampoo. Rinsed out the hairspray bottle and used the (rinsed off) shampoo bottle lid. Heated it in the microwave, used a digital thermometer to check the temp, and left it on the counter with a handwarmer around it for about an hour. Temped out fine an hour later so I felt confident in my game plan. Especially since I left it on the counter and the hand warmer package says it works best in an enclosed area.

The morning of the test I went to work at my current job, had my kit ready in my purse (an old sock full of extra undies, travel bottle, digital thermometer, extra hand warmers, extra rubber bands) and headed to a friends house near the clinic after my shift to initiate the plan. Microwaved it for ten seconds, shook it up, checked the temp and wrapped the handwarmer around it. Put on the extra undies, placed the bottle between the undies (bottle side closest to my body) and left for the clinic.

Only had to wait about 15 minutes and I was the least sketchy person in the waiting room. The nurse calls me back, tells me to wash my hands and set my stuff down on the counter (I only took in my wallet, cell phone and keys and left them out of my pockets the entire time I was there). Points me to the bathroom and says "I need to you fill it to here" and marks the cup. Went in to the bathroom and peed into the blue toilet water as I poured the QF in the cup. It wasn't quite enough to make the line but I knew it was 2 ounces. She didn't tell me NOT to flush the toilet, and the tape around the flusher was ripped to shreds, so I flushed the toilet, opened the door and set my specimen on the counter. She had me wash my hands again and sign my COC form, which stated that the temperature was correct. She didn't leave any other comments on the form. Wasn't asked to initial the bottle she poured my specimen into or anything. Then she handed me a Donor Copy of the COC and the Employer Copy of the COC and told me I was free to go.

I'm feeling pretty confident that with my flawless execution of the plan that I'll never hear anything about the test. Of course, I've been sitting here wondering all holiday weekend if they'll know its synthetic urine...but I know that I'm just being overly anxious. I researched the websites of three major collection clinics and they are all federally certified labs, but I know that some poor lab tech is just going to run the drug screen and move on to the next sample. They aren't going to place every single specimen under heavy scrutiny...they don't have the time and don't get paid for that. When I saw that they are noticing synthetic samples coming in I kinda freaked out but then I realized that these are probably cases where the temp wasn't right or someone slipped up and exposed the bottle, handwarmer, etc.

I just wanted to let all the people reading this thread freaking out that as long as you do a few practice runs you'll be able to do it w/o any problems. Just make sure you stay calm. Don't get in such a panic that you forget a step. Also, I spent $40 on the two home tests, and about $5 on the hairspray, shampoo, thermometer and hand warmers.

I highly suggest everyone reading this thread in a panic thoroughly read this for knowledge. Its up to us to be responsible heads and show the world that we are productive, intelligent, contributing members of society.

I'm staying clean until I start the new job just to be sure though.

Just had a pee test done today for this job I got recently at the airport. It's kind of a life changing oppertunity for me some I'm very nervous right now as I wait for the results to come back.

What I did today was before going to the clinic I stopped by a 7-11 near it and used their microwave to warm up my QF 4.0. Got it at 98 degrees and went back to my car. Then I used the warmer that came with it and wrapped it around the bottle. After I stuck the solution into my boxers. Went into the clinic was asked to empty my pockets, not to flush the toilet, and not to use the sink. I was then given the cup to pee in. So I went inside and just dumped the QF solution into the cup I then noticed that the cup the nurse gave me had a temp strip too and it was at 96 degrees. Gave my cup back to the nurse, signed some papers, and was then told I was free to leave and my test results should be back within a week.

Now I'm getting pretty paranoid waiting for the results. But if it works I'll be soo happy, only problem though is my job does random drug testings so I might have to keep a bottle of QF with me at all times. I'll let you guys know how the results go wish me luck.

Ok, now I'm planning to use QuickFix 4.0 (just ordered it).

The issue is that I will be probably be expected to take the test on my first day of work and I don't know exactly what time I will be sent to get it done. I won't have access to a microwave (actually don't want to use one at the office), and since this is Midtown Manhattan, it will be a 10 minute walk in the bitter cold to the closest Quest Diagnostics location. What would be your suggestions for keeping it warm? I was thinking I could keep it my bag the whole day, and then finding a bathroom with hot water somewhere right next to the location and put in the area between the anus and the crotch as mentioned here.

Or could I potentially microwave it early in the morning before I went to work, and stick on the heating pad in my bag while it sits there for a few hours. Will that work?

Also, I am told someone will be listening outside the door. How do I not make it sound fishy?

Hello to all and a big thank you to the regulars here for your advise!
I am about to lose my job...blah, blah, blah... I ordered the Q4 and received it today. I knew my pee would be wrecked with THC...

I just wanted to give my results of my initial "practice" with ithe temp. I am a petite woman (5'3"/100lbs), and I was a little concerned how to "conceal" the bottle due to not having quite enough boobie to work with. lol

So, here goes it:

Instead of microwaving the bottle, I filled a mixing bowl with water and heated it 2.5 minutes. I placed the bottle in the water for about 2 or 3 minutes and removed the bottle.

I unscrewed the cap and tested the temp with a digital and the temp was 109.

I then placed the bottle (no heat pad this time) in my doubled undie (cotton) with only one side nestled to my body (yes, flat against my little garden of eden). Here is my timetable with temps:

9:11 bottle out of hot water - 109 degrees - placed in undies
9:21 - 102.5
9:42 - 99.2
9:44 - back in the "garden"
10:01 - 98
10:04 - back in
10:12 - 96.5

As far as temp, I hope this will suffice. I'll be re-reading to make sure though...lol! Now I just need to practice the "covert operation" of the deed.

When you say practice, can I practice with this stuff over and over again? How many times can you reheat this stuff. I thought I'd have to buy 2 or 3 bottles of this to 'practice'.

I am going to store this vaginally, I would think this would be great in keeping it heated ... I will still check temp once in cup ... Should I use a doubled up condom or 2 oz bottle, I would think condom would allow it remain closer to my body temp ... any thoughts on this method of storage.

It's my understanding that the Q4 can be re-heated multible times, although I don't want to chance doing that. That was my first trial practice to get the temp right. I do have a second one for the acutual deed.

I think I'm going to just take a thermos of hot water in the car, check the temp before going in and if it is less than 100, I'll dip the bottle, get the temp to about 102 and go for it. I think 97-98 is optimal.

Hopefully the experts here will advise... I'm a "first-timer" and haven't been to the lab yet...

I would just keep reading the posts regarding the condom strategy. Our friends here have suggested over and over to practice that with water first. Do what ever you are most confident with.
