if i freeze it, should i just unfreeze it the day of?? would i just put it in the microwave? and do i need to buy a thermometer to make sure its warm enough, or just body heat will warm it up?
i'm sorry i'm just so nervous and dont want to fuck this up, as i already told ppl i had the job b/c i had no idea i would be drug tested...

yes unfreeze the day of.
I would practice with your sub bottle using just plain water.
determine how you're going to heat it and yes by all means use a thermometer on your practice runs. You can use a disposable hand warmer, microwave the urine etc. I use my car's defroster to get it blazing hot before i eneter the test facility.

Thank you everyone who helped make this thread what it is today. I read and reread this entire thread. I then ordered a quickfix 4.0 bottle online. I practiced keeping the temp. right and that gave me the confidence to use the method detailed here.

I used my microwave to heat the bottle to 104.0 and then strapped a handwarmer to the bottle with a rubber band. Then the bottle went where N2 described worked best for him. I kept the handwarmer touching the fabric of some old school tighty-whiteys. I also wore a pair of boxer briefs and a pair of regular boxers over those. From my practice runs using a digital thermometer and timing it, I knew I could take the bottle out after 30 min. to an hour and it would be dead on 98.

The day of exam I did my routine I was comfortable with and headed to the lab. After checking in I signed some documents and waited for about 15 minutes until a tech. brought me to a bathroom. She made me empty my pockets and lock the contents into a lock box. Once inside the bathroom she pointed out the tape which would remind me not to flush. The water had dye in it. I locked the door when she exited the room and did a small void into the toilet. Then I pulled out the bottle and poured it into the container she provided. Once empty I returned the bottle. I then composed myself and checked the temp. strip on the container. The first green line I noticed was near 96. I waited a few more moments making sure the temp. didn't take off past 100. It didn't.

I then opened the door and she came in and said "good you gave enough". She then emptied the contents of the container into two seperate vials and sealed them in front of me, dumping the rest into the toilet. We both exited the room and I initialed a couple lines and signed the paper. I asked her "is there anything else I need to do?" and she told me "nope, we'll let your employer know in 24 to 48 hours the results." I thanked her and left the office.

I start my new career on Monday. Although I have quit smoking and don't want to start back I want to thank everyone who helped keep this thread going. I don't agree with checking someones urine to determine their worth.

Thanks Freedom_User. Just needed a little reassurance. Also, he is a roommate, but also one of my best friends, so I trust him 100% on this.

Anyways, I already told him I would gut him like a fish if he failed me, so I'm sure he's given some thought to this. lol. I kid, I kid.

FXJohn, I do plan to test his with a First Check test, but that test has a 50 ng/ml cut-off level and my thoughts are how it would do with a GC/MS test that has a cut-off of 15 ng/ml.

I really think I'll be just fine and worrying over nothing.

My friend got patted down for his test, I was planning on subbing if I ever need to take a test, but that kinda freaked me out.

Is that normal? This was just an employment test too, btw.

where was your friends test done? what lab?

where did they actually pat your friend that would interfere with subbing?

the lab i'm not sure, it was in North Jersey and for Hertz.

i asked if they patted around the crotch (i plan on wearing briefs and resting the bottle on the taint), and he said yeah, but i'm not sure how thorough they'll be.

i'm not sure if i'll be tested or not, but i want to play it safe

If this really happened, your friend needs to turn their butts in! As I already stated in page 93 of this thread, collectors who frisk or otherwise touch the donor in any way are breaking the law! For employment UA's, they can only have you remove excess outer clothing and emptying your pockets.

Once again, know your rights!

Is QuickFix not available locally for anyone? I bought mine at a local head shop. It was one of only 3 in stock - I was told they fly off the shelves.

Okay, so I have a test coming up in 4 days. I've been reading a lot in this thread, but my situation is a little different. On my first day of work, I go in to be introduced to everything and everyone, fill out all the paperwork, then they send me to my test. I have no idea how long this is going to take or where I'll have to go. I go in at 8am, and it may not be until 11am before I can take the test. If I don't have the opportunity to go to a gas station to fill up on hot water on my way to the testing facility, how long will hot (and I mean HOT, like 150 or more) water stay hot in a coffee mug with the sealed bottle of urine inside it? I may have to load up on the hot water on my way to work and trust it to stay hot the whole time from the time I get there to the time I take the test. I'm doing pre-tests right now, but I figured if anyone had any input on this I could compare data.
