So far, I'm finding that if I simply Ace Bandage the 2oz bottle (as was suggested in this thread) to the right pit of my crotch between my scrotum and my inner thigh with a SMALL handwarmer wrapped in there with it, it's comfortable enough to conceivably forget it's even there. After 30 minutes, the bottle (which has a temp strip on the front) read roughly 94-96. Tested with a Walgreens digital thermometer, it registered at 97.2. The hand warmer registers alone at just a little below 109.

I'm now testing for a 2-hour stretch to see if that temperature of 97 is maintained.

Back with more in a couple of hours.

EDIT: Also, I should add that the underwear I'm wearing is actually neither briefs nor boxers. I've got long-johns to help raise my body temp just a little. Plus, if the bottle decides to follow gravity and try to go down my leg, the long-johns will help keep the bottle more in place and not let it get too far down the leg.

Wow, okay, so the last post said I was trying for a 2-hour test. Well, I got 90 minutes into and tested the temp. I nailed it: 98.7.

I'm ready for this bitch.

Now trying 90 minutes with a 2.5oz bottle (travel size Irish Spring body wash). I noticed during the temp test from the previous post that there was an air bubble that formed in the 2oz bottle that wasn't there when I filled it, leaving it with LESS than the 2oz minimum recommended amount. No leakage. I can only assume this is from the liquid contracting due to the rise in temperature?

What type of ace bandage you using? Is it one that is for a thigh that is pretty tight, or do you have to pin it together after wrapping?

Also, what type/size handwarmer you using? That seems like a lot of stuff to fit on the side of the scrotum/leg.

It actually settles in there pretty flat. I'm using the self-adhesive bandage, no clips.

Ya.. I am worried about the quick fix bottle only being 2 oz... I am afraid they will want more.. I might need to up my bottle amount to 2.5 oz if possible... Is that your thinking and have you heard about people running into a problem here?

The problem I ran into was after heating up the water with my body temp, I noticed a slight deflation of the bottle due to (I assume) contraction of the liquid due to heating (expands when frozen, contracts when heated). Therefore, when I lifted the nozzle of the bottle, an air bubble was formed to make up for the low pressure inside. According to this thread, they require to be given 2oz at the least. This contraction problem would lead to less than 2oz coming out of the bottle. If you up it to 2.5 (and I really do recommend the Irish Spring Body Wash travel bottle...I scoured Walmart yesterday for 2 hours looking for bottles in ANY department that could be washed and used), the contraction of the liquid will not go down by half an oz, leaving at least 2oz to deliver.

Okay! So this morning after I arrived at my new place of work, I went in, filled out a few tax forms, then I was sent off to a place in a different part of the city....which was surprising as the place I work is located in an industrial park with a bunch of different factories and trucking companies and so forth. I expected them to do it just barely off site. BUT... I went in, and apparently one of those places nearby where I work, a trucking company was shifting around a bunch of responsibilities and having a TON of people go take DOT tests...so I was there for quite a while before I could actually give them the piss. I went in finally, emptied my pockets, washed my hands, and was simply pointed to a nearby bathroom and was told, "Don't run water and don't flush the toilet." No blue dye in the water (there was last time at a different place). She didn't even tell me I had a time limit. So I went in there, did the deed with the Irish Spring bottle, stuffed it back where I had it, walked out, gave her the cup, watched her seal it up in a couple of short and stubby vials and seal them, initialed the vials, signed a thing stating that it was my urine and hadn't been tampered with (), and was on my way.

Booyah! Got me a new job!

I heard that after a while Quick Fix 4.0 loses its thing and can give red signal. You should not expose it to sunlight.

Mine is always in a dark box, but I did open it already and I have no idea how old it is...

so I am doing practice trials for subbing, I am using a 3oz shampoo bottle and a theromoeter designed to track the temprature in a reptile tank/ fish aquarium. but with my weight being 145 and my height being 6 foot 3 I am having trouble getting it warm enough, I can get and keep it at about a 94.8 after sitting with it in the spot described by N2 for close to an hour.

I am also considering purchasing a kit I found at my local headshop, which includes 3oz synthetic urine, heating pad, thermometer, rubber band and a velcro belt/harness type of deal to strap it on haha, it looked pretty good, had canadian flags and shit on the bottom, if anyones seen this stuff fill me in on it cause the only one I know to work is quickfix, and I haven't found any around here.
