I am a little confused about the time periods in which urine that is refrigerated can be used for a drug test. I have seen a general consensus that it lasts 2 weeks refrigerated, but i remember seeing Sec in one or two threads say it will probably pass a test a little beyond 2 weeks because of time involved in shipping the urines to testing labs and so on.

Also, pretaining to the '2 week' period... if I subbed with urine on the last day of the 2 week refrigeration period, would it still pass? What about the time after they collect the urine to when it is tested in the lab? Will that time alter the urine's ability to pass the test in any way?

any factual information would greatly help to clear up some things for me and others i hope.

Try using different keywords if what your lookin for isnt in there.

For me, If I was't gonna use the sample right away, id be freezing it anyway. It does not take long to thow out 2 oz of urine. So, Id never keep it for more than a few hours without putting it in the freezer.

I use quickfix anyway if I am gonna sub.

Education on storing urine......

At room temp urine is good for approx 8 hours...OR...it can be stored in fridge for up to 5 days....OR...it can be frozen in an air tight container for about a year and a half. AND....I know from experience that it can still pass a lab test after thawing and warming.

EDIT: The way you are talking of mainly pertains to after the sample has been verified by the tester.

What about it makes it old? Someone gave me some clean piss for yesterday and I didn't have to use it. So, I stuck it in the freezer, and will need it in 29 more days. Would it be good for a probation officer's 'cup test'?

As long as your test isn't observed and the temp is within range it will pass with flying colors. I was fortunate and had 8 months of unobserved probation test and my frozen samples did wonders and even passed lab tests.
