Alright, so im on probation, i get random UA's about once a week. I smoked Decmeber 22, i took about 4 hits of some low grade marijuana. I was clean for 9 months prior to my "relapse". I am 5'9 145 lbs. and i have a very fast metabolism. My UA will be the 26 or the 27.
How long will the marijuana stay in my system?

That question is asked pretty much every week. A couple of days. I have a hard time trying to understand why people on probation would risk smoking pot when they know full well it could land them in jail. Pot laws suck, probation sucks, but jail sucks worse than all the other things combined.

a one time high when youre completely clean stays in your system for 3-5 days. considering your very fast metabolism and the small intake of low grade buds, i think you should be good to go. however, this is only an educated guess.

for your situation i would recommend using a mild dilution. even if you are not completely clean in the short time frame you will probably fall short of the test cut offs. get a home test and test yourself the day before your test (i would test christmas morning if you think you MIGHT have to test on the 26th) with your FIRST urination of the morning. this will give you a good indicator of where you stand. if you test positive on that first test you will have a whole day to practice dilution and test yourself again.

substitution is always my first recommendation, but with your situation i think you have a great shot at passing using dilution.

Thanks for the help. If anyone else could give me their thoughts it would be great. Im pretty nervous. I mean, im pretty positive i will pass. Four hits shouldnt really stay in my system for that long considering im so skinny. Im probably 11 % body fat. and im going to eat pretty light untill my ua, i will just drink plenty of water up untill my ua. and stay active.

Would this be a good plan?

When i got put on probation i was smoking half and ounce to an ounce a day for a year or so. I stopped cold turkey and passed a UA in 21 days.

So if that helps anyone answer my question ... sorry im really nervous

drinking lots of water until the UA will accomplish nothing except over working your kidneys. there is nothing you can do to increase your chances of passing except fat burning exercise and abstaining. BUT,since you are so close to your test, fat burning exercise isnt something i would recommend. start eating greasy foods and be as lazy as possible until the day of your test.

if you passed a UA 21 days after smoking "an ounce a day for a year," i dont think you should be too concerned about your present situation. after being clean for nine months, like i said before a one time high will stay in your system 3-5 days (i would put you on the lower portion of that scale considering your physical stats).

im sure youre looking for some alternate opinions on here, but i just wanted to lend you some more peace of mind. you'll be okay man.

bluntwrap's right. I passed in that time with dilution. definitely home test prior.

Well i found out i wont have to take the UA untill either this saturday or sunday.. so its adding time on to it. Should i be fine? I know i keep asking the same question im just really nervous about this.

And to add extra detail.

I smoked the 21st around midnight. i didnt go to sleep till around 2.Am. I told my P.O im out of town for christmas and ill be back in friday, but im going to text him at like 10 30pm and tell him i just got in town...so he wont UA me friday. and he might not do it saturday, but there is a possibilty that he will do it saturday.

What are my odds here? Should i be ok?

Like Bluntwrap advised, take a home THC test for peace of mind. A home THC test would tell a more accurate story on where you stand than any of our crystal balls around here.

When testing yourself, remember to use the first urination in the morning.

Yeah, i figured i should home test first. I dont want to spend money though, so i was just trying to see if based on my body type, metabolism, clean time, and smoking amount, if i would be clean in about 3-5 days, everyone is saying i should be ok. So im pretty positive i will come up clean. just kinda nervous is all.
