I last smoked 12/12/08. Casual to light smoker, maybe 1-2X week.

5'-11" 185lbs, slow-med metabolism.

Went for my 3rd interview, they wanted to piss me then! Luckily the lab they used was closed. They will call me to re-schedule but this test is required before they make me an offer.

I already read up on the dilution method and ready to carry it out. The last few days I have been eating crappy food and not working out. I wonder if that helped my home test. I drink a lot of fluid as it is, did my first test mid-stream and it was naturally light light yellow. Both lines show up and have a dark color. I woke up this AM and my first piss, first stream of the piss was dark yellow. I got both lines but the THC line was very faint.

Should I soak up the creatine, work out, and prepare more for this test? I don't know when they will reschedule (they will call Monday) and don't know what impact dietary and work out habits will make.

Something something home tests 50/ml something and the drug screening could be 20/ml something.

Is passage of the home test sufficient? Should I still plan for a day of much asprin, b-complex, gatorade and start the creatine now?

What makes you think the employers test is 20 nanograms of THC per milliter of urine (ng/mL)? It is probably just the regular type of test that most everyone else uses (50 ng/mL).

If you tested your first urine of the day and received a negative instant test result, you are good to go with the employer's test. Just drink a 20 ounce sports drink (not a vitamin drink or energy drink) 90 minutes prior to test time to ensure you can pee on command. Don't give your first pee of the day and you have an almost guaranteed probability of passing the test.

I am thinking that as a precaution. Seemed to me they have their own in-house facility the way they made it sound because the lab-corps in my area aren't sufficient for them. Maybe they just don't have an account with them or something. Cool, thanks for that. My anxiety is high, like others with a test on the horizon. I read the day of the test or day before to load up on fatty foods....... thats what I have done during this Christmas break. I was thinking this might have something to do with testing negative, I am use to eating chicken and vegtables only and getting some weight lifting in on a regular basis. I have done none of that the last couple days.

I'll get some gatorade for the day of the test and drink my normal amounts of water.

Wow, this situation sounds like mine! I last last smoked( 2 hits) 2 weeks ago and just did the strip test. The second line was very faint but was there. I could not believe it! Usually 2 hits and I'm good in about 6 days. However, this time was different for some reason. I have the paperwork to do a drug test but I'm going to hold out as long as I can. I got picked in a random test. It is such a shame that people who just smoke for occassional use has to go through such anxiety!

Hawky....I would almost bet the farm that you are already clean. A line is a line regarding a THC test strip and shows that you are UNDER the 50ng/ml mark that the labs generally use for all their initial screening. It does NOT indicate how close to being clean you are. While you are clean....gather you a few 2oz air tight bottles and freeze some urine. It's good for about a year in the freezer. I have done that in the past and all passed lab testing. You never know what the economy will do and if you will need it. Make sure you mark the date.

I thought the same but you know how your mind can go off on you sometimes. Anyway, thanks for the tips there; I will for sure do that. I have until the 5th to do my test. So, I will freeze some 2oz samples for future use.

One other thing... I noticed it says "7643N NIDA 5 DRUG PANEL" on the form. Is this the test strip kind then if there is a question it goes to GC/ MASS Spec?

Hawky.....you have a test for a 5 panel drug test. You are right about precedure of testing. BTW....did you get around to freezing 2oz bottles of clean urine for the future?? Never know what may happen in these days and times.

Well I bought 2 more take home tests. The first one mid-stream in the middle of the day. Negative. The second one took this AM when I woke, first void and first stream. The line was so faint but present.

What is a "ghost line" anyway. I think the early AM voids could constitute a ghost line. The mid-day voids after some fluids seem to be good to go.

L Bo....What you have described is a "ghost line". Whatever you do...do NOT give a sample with first urine of the day. Always try to void 3-5 times before testing.
