Took two home tests. One was a mid-day using mid-stream and got a pretty solid negative test. The other test was a morning first, full stream. The day before I purposely cut my water intake to try and get the worst possible situation for the test. That test also came up negative but the line was very, very faint.

Is a faint line indicative of a ng/ml level approaching 50? I'm not sure if the test I'm getting done (Concentra pre-employment) is going to test to 50 or to 20. I'm confident that with a bit of dilution and mid stream technique, I can pass the 50, but I'm a bit worried about if they are testing to 20.

I do have a sub lined up and I probably should just do that to be sure, but I'm a bit sketched out at the whole idea of sneaking in the sub, keeping it at the right temperature, making sure there's enough, etc etc. I'd much rather just be able to test clean myself.

To think so would be speculating, since home assays lack the ability to give a quantitative number (unlike the GC/MS). Even synthetic urine can produce faint lines.

There is no meaning attributed to the intensity of the lines. A faint line is still a line, which translates a negative.
