Where can I send my own urine for Lab testing and have private results? Any idea of the costs? I've done some searching but most labs are geared toward businesses.

All the labs in my area allow any person with who has the money to walk in and take a test. Last time I paid for my own test was a little over 2 years ago and at both facilites it cost between $25 and $35.

Unfortunately, I live in a small town without lab services. Is there any web-based service where I can send a urine sample and have official lab results (the same as my employer would use)?

If you pay the $15 - $20 for a test kit at most major drug stores, you have the opportunity to send your results to a lab for confirmation I think. Otherwise you would need to travel to a larger city and pay for a collection/testing facility to send your specimen to the lab for you.

I've checked and you have to have a "preliminary positive" on these tests in order to be able to send them in for further testing. I'm looking for a lab where I can send my sample in for lab testing only. The sample I have is negative for drugs, but I want to be doubly sure it will pass a lab test since my employer does not do anything but take a sample (I'm subbing) and send out for lab tests.

I found a few places on the internet that will allow you to send a urine sample. I'm hesitant to post the links here (I'm definitely not endorsing them).
But if you guys think it would be ok, I'll put them in my next post.
I'm leary of web-based stuff like this and would like some comments.

one thought on all this..... RECORDS... I am sure everything is logged.. soo IF you have a fail test you now have a record of sorts..... the HOME test if paid in cash are good but once you mail it out where is the security?? just food for thought...

Thanks for the insight! I suspect that since I'll be sending it into a private lab and getting private results that it shouldn't go on any record. At least none that my current or future employers will know about.
I'm basically sending in a clean sample to see if it passes adulteration checks. I purchased QF 4.2 on eBay and I tested it for drugs (which was negative) and I used adulteration strips on it. The strips may indicate a positive for oxidants, but it's borderline. I was unable to get QF the normal way because of the state I live in so I had to order it from an individual on eBay and I wanted to make sure it wasn't tampered with (the cellophane was still intact though).
