Bottle of water+few drops of detergent. Will it work?

Hey everyone. I have a physical on friday and im almost positive my mom is gonna ask the doctor to drug test me. I talked to one of my good friends and he said that his cousin is a hardcore pothead, and that every time he has to take a drug test, he takes a bottle of water and mixes it with a few drops of laundry detergent. He says it works great, and he's passed every single test! Do you guys think this will work?

About me:
5'10
165 pounds
Last time I smoked was a .5 joint last monday
I usually smoke about two grams a week
Im in good shape, cut, and I have a pretty good metabolism (simply cuz i can eat a lot of food and never get fat).

well the point of a physical is to see if your healthy, so a lab analyzes your urine to check for good levels of vitamins and proteins and creatine and all that stuff. I think if the lab isn't able to tell that what they have been given is a cup of water and laundry detergeant then you rly dont want to be going to that doctors office. I wouldn't advice doing it, just go to the phsyical, if the doctor asks you if you smoke pot ask him if its confidential. if he says no then tell him you do but dont want your mom knowing. doctors are one of the few people that youi have to be honest with.

Lol if im getting drug tested why would I tell the doctor I smoke pot? I think you misread my post; im getting a physical on friday and my mom will probably ASK the doctor for a drug test. Its not like theyre just giving me a normal physical and then the doctor asks if I smoke pot. Theyre gonna be actually testing me.

but this appointment IS just a scheduled yearly physical correct? and in this yearly physical your mom will ask him to drug test you?

Yea me and all my brothers are gonna be getting a physical on friday. And im almost positive my mom will ask so im gonna play it safe rather than be sorry. And im 17.

How old are you?... Can your mom even ask them to do that? How could they force you?

Right, so I'm pretty sure that if the doctor asks you if you smoke, your answer is Confidential, meaning he isn't allowed to tell your mom about it even if she asks.

Hmm idk about that...regardless though im not taking any chances. Ive been drinking a ton of water today and tomorrow im gonna go out and buy a bunch of cranberry juice

The doctor is bound by confidentiality as long as the patient isn't posing a danger to himself or others. If the doctor feels you are posing a danger to yourself by using an illegal substance (such as pot or any other illegal drug), then he is obligated to inform those who are in a position to protect you from yourself (which would be your mother) as long as you are underage.

(This is my non-legal opinion in this matter).

BTW, soapy water will not pass any integrity test. the pH will be way off, there would be absolutely no creatinine, etc...
