|  Substitution @ Quest Diagnostics Greetings all, Just wanted to see if I could get someone to welcome me as the newest member of the sub club? I did it. Total cakewalk. Purchased the following: 2oz Handsanitizer (well rinsed) $1 Digital Thermometer $10 Thermo Strip $2 Practiced with temperature, carrying technique and pouring. Heated sample with handwarmer on 20min drive to Quest. 104 degrees. Walked in with confidence, went into bathroom, poured sample, urinated, stashed bottle and walked out. Total time in and out: less than 10 minutes. Sample: 98 degrees. Can't believe I put my mind, body and wallet through all of the dilutions (even though they work if you follow the directions). I spent less on this than a single home test. Anyone trying to decide whether to sub or dilute? This is the only way to go. No worries. Thanks to Sec, knotme66, lewscannon and everyone else on here. You guys (& gals) rule! |

| Absolutely. So much easier (cheaper, stress-free, and certain) than dilution. Feels great. I highly recommend it to those considering taking a chance with dilution for pre-employment drug screens. Thanks again everybody. |
