Hello everyone,

I have a couple of questions about an upcomming UA, but first I should give you some background info about my situation.

In order to continue my education, I recently applied (and was accepted) to a very prestigious hospital-affiliated school where I will be trained and certified as a cliniclal laboratory scientist (ironic I know, as I will soon be the one doing the UAs on everyone else). I knew that once I was accepted I woud have to pass a drug test, but after researching the schools admissions protocols, I thought this test was administered in August, right before classes begin. I therefore assumed it would be ok for me to smoke on spring break. Well, last Friday (last day of spring break) I got a call from the program director who asked me if I would physically be at my address, as she would be mailing me some directives for my drug screen and I only had a certain number of hours (I'm assuming 24-48) to complete said directives. I told her that I would not be home for two weeks, so she agreed to mail it then.

Even though I bought myself this time, I know it will not be enough to get clean naturally (smoked daily for 10 years, i'm very heavy -5'5 210lbs, VERY slow metabolism). I am going to try though, I've been exercizing, hydrating properly, and i've read up on proper dilution methods. But I really need a back-up plan in case my home test pops positive before the real test.

After reading N2's post about substitution, I feel this is my best option.

As for my questions:
1.) has anyone ever heard of school related drug tests being observed, or am I to assume it is like a pre-employment UA?

2.) I bought a product ("perfecturine" frozen human urine) for my substitution. Has anyone used this before? I am getting sceptical because most posts that I read about this product seem to be too good (like advertisment for the company). So please, any true testimonials would be so helpful.

3.) do the heating elements provided in these types of products make the urine too hot? Would it be better to simply heat it to ~100 and then keep it in my panties to stabalize to body temp?

I really appologize for writing such a long post, but I just don't know where else I can ask these question. Thank you in advance to everyone for helping me, as you will be helping me gain the career of my dreams.

Only advice I could give is SUB. Based on your specs I don't think you'll be clean by the time of your UA. I'm 5'6 135lbs, fast metab, daily smoker... Still tested dirty after 14 days of abstaining. From what I've read these UAs are usually unobserved so you should be able to get away with subbing. Just practice, practice, practice to make sure you get the temp nailed. You didn't mention if you need to complete a physical with the drug screening. That could be more difficult pulling off subbing depending on when and where you go. I wish you luck. Thank you for your input. As far as a possible physical, I'm not sure since I have not recieved the directives yet. When I spoke to the director on phone she said it was for a drug test, and she mentioned nothing about a physical exam. This does not mean there won't be on though. My plan is to carry the sub in my crotch, then, if I have to have an exam, I will remove the sub with my clothing, get examined, then when they let me get dressed again i will put the sub back in my panties. The only way this won't work is if they send me to pee in the hospital robe and don't let me get dressed (from what I've read they usually let you get dressed...at least I hope).
