I am 5'8, 165 pounds, better than average metabolism, I have always been active (whether it be the gym, running, outdoor activities etc.), but a chronic smoker for about 1 year and a half (smoking almost everyday, at least 1-2 bong rips). I found out I had to take a urine drug test on May 5th so I stopped smoking on March 17th.

Ever since March 17th, I started working out even more rigorously, running a lot, drinking lots of fluids, and eating healthy (for the most part). I didn't smoke at all, not even on 4/20. The night before the test, I worked up a sweat, came home and drank lots of fluids and took a home drug test that same night and I passed. The next morning I drank about a 1 Liter of water (and a granola bar) and went to take the test. It had been 49 days since i smoked when I took the actual test.

Now I THINK I passed, but I am not sure - My doctor told me that he would call me if they found something wrong with the test (i.e. if the test was positive or inconclusive) and they needed me to give another urine sample. Now, I know for a fact that my doctor recieved the results of my drug test this Friday May 8th. He didn't call me yesterday, and I'm assuming:
1) either he didn't get to look at the results, OR
2) I passed!

Do you guys think I passed?! Because if I did, then I will start smoking again and stop being paranoid, but if you think I didn't, i'll hold off until I can confirm that I am in the clear....

Hey if we could predict our results then we'd be geniuses, but I'd say the odds are in your favor. At this point it's all about your body's personal detoxification rate, as opposed to the average dude.

So, once again, it looks good but anything can happen. Please let us know!!

If he is YOUR Doctor, why don't you just call him and ask. Why are you taking a drug test anyway?

BTW, I also think you passed the test.

sorry forgot to add, the drug test is part of my school protocol, a requirement to move on to the next year. The doctor works at the school, he gets the results of drug tests faxed or hand-delivered to him after students take the drug test at a nearby lab.
