I am female, about 5'2, 130 pounds. I guess I would say I have a pretty fast metabolism, with not much body fat except "baby weight" around the middle still. I have a pre-employment drug "screening" (I think she used the word screening lol) at Quest Diagnostics next Monday...6 days from now. I am clean 8 days right now and will have 14 days clean on test day. Before that, I smoked daily, but only about 1-2 bowls a day, and usually low-grade stuff as I can't afford the better lol. I have been smoking this amount daily for about 4-5 years I guess...missing some days here and there, but basically daily.
I'm trying to decide what to do. I doubt I'll be clean on my own, but I guess there's a chance. I do have a home test here I can take, but wanted to wait a few more days before trying it to give myself even more time to be clean naturally.
I COULD sub...I actually have some of my kid's pee stored in my freezer from about 9 months ago when my hubby had to take a test. I'm not sure if it's still good after being frozen nine months though? And I'm actually REALLY afriad to sub...I could suck it up and try it of course, but I'm afraid. I feel more comfortable with dilution.
My husband passed his urine test using dilution and aspirin after only 8 days clean and he smokes just about as much as me. But, he only had a "on-site" test, similar to a home test I guess...it wasn't at a lab and mine is.
I'm not sure what level i will be testing at...I'm assuming that it's the 50/mg but it IS for a job in the medical field and I've read another thread that said their test at Quest for a Medical job was done at a 20/mg. So, now I'm worried about that, too. I guess I might be able to find out on this Friday when I get the "paperwork" for the test...

My main questions are these...
1. Do you think it will be the 50/mg test?
2. How important is it to do the creatine/salt/niacin? My husband didn't do these...he only used Gatorade and Aspirin and passed...oh and I think he took about 1/2 a B vitamin to produce more yellow color. But his test wasn't done at a lab...Will they be testing for specific gravity/creatine at Quest or only if my sample is flagged diluted? Do they only flag it as diluted if the "collector" THINKS it LOOKS diluted?
3. If i choose to sub...is my kid's 9 month frozen pee still okay?
4. I've read that the aspirin isn't effective on the "new" EMIT tests...can it HURT? Should i use it "just in case" or will it make it worse.
5. I am a beer drinker...usually about 4-6 a day...will this help, hurt or make no difference?
6. Oh and my husband was really worried that his pee would be TOO neon green or whatever from the vitamin...this is why he only took 1/2 of the B vitamin pill...is it a red flag if your pee is a "strange" color like neon yellow or green?

I've tried to research these questions on here, so I do apologize if they've been asked before, but I didn't have much luck in my searches.
I also apologize for the long post, but I'm very worried as I've never taken a drug test before in my life.

But yes, pre-employments are 50ng/ml for the initial screening, if it tests positive it is sent to GC/MS for clarification with a 15ng/ml cut-off and will identify the actual substances present (this is why it is used as confirmation as some things cause false-positives).

Yes, they will test the specific gravity, creatine, and pH...so these levels must be high enough to not flag it as dilute (levels are listed in dilution sticky I believe).

Should be, just don't microwave it to warm it up...there's a few threads about using frozen urine but I don't recall the specifics so you may want to try searching again in the meantime.

Aspirin is not good for the stomach so it could hurt you :P And I believe that it is less effective (not sure about totally uneffective) with the new EMIT's, Sec would know for sure.

Not unless they are looking for alcohol too. Alcohol is comprised mostly of water but it is also fattening so may slow the release of THC from your fat cells. Not to get involved in your personal life but 4-6 per DAY!?!?! Better start saving for that liver transplant

Not sure, someone else probably knows but I would think that green would throw up a flag. Neon yellow...probably not so much.

Nice to hear when people try to answer their questions on their own first Nothing wrong with long, the more details the better in most cases. Drug tests suck, easiest way to beat them is to be clean (obviously) but I think your best bet may be substition with QuickFix or your child's urine provided it is completely clean. Good luck!

As to the beer, lol, that hasn't been going on very long...just since i had to stop "smoking" lol...
Once I'm okay to smoke again...the beer consumption will be much less lol...

Not sure which way I'm going to go at this point. I'd really rather do dilution but I'm worried about being "dilute".
I do feel "safer" with subbing...but I'm afraid I'll be so nervous that I'll give myself away...lol
I really don't handle "pressure" well, I know my hands and voice will be shaking and I'll probably be sweating like a pig...I may even get myself so worked up that I pass out. That has happened before...

Okay, so I just did a home test...I wanted to wait a few more days to take it because it has only been 9 days and I have 5 more left before test day...but I couldn't wait any longer...

I got a VERY faint, and I do mean VERY, hardly visible faint NEGATIVE line. But, that was without doing anything other than what I normally do every day. I had several cups of coffee, some juice etc...and took the test at about 1:30 this afternoon after I had already urinated several times earlier.

Do you think I MAY have a chance at passing on my own after another 5 days?? Or maybe passing with just a "little" dilution? I'm fine with diluting but I'm just worried I will over-dilute and come up as "negative dilute" which I know is better than positive, but still not something I want to deal with (obviously). I do have subbing as a back up plan...but would much rather not have to try that...

That's the problem I'm running in two at the two week mark...it's so faint I think I'm hallucinating. However, even if the line is faint (provided others can see it too) that is still a negative

Btw...worrywart...I was wondering if it's okay to do that...pee my own urine into the cup to heat it up and then dump it out and replace it? You're saying that's okay and won't affect anything?

Also, if you don't mind my asking...how did you dump it out with out it making a "strange" sound? lol I don't want any "plopping" lol.

Kamman, practice the subbing. Heat your bottle to 103 degrees and keep it in your vagina. You will be good for one hour, however...DONT release the sample before 20 minutes or it will be too hot. I kept my bottle of donor urine deep in between my scrotum and leg for 45 minutes and it came out at 97.3 degrees not bad at all. Give it a shot, you will be all alone in that bathroom. I also urinated into the large cup and let it sit for 30 seconds then dumped it out and re-filled the cup with the donor sample, to heat the cup up. Good luck!

Heres a copy and paste of what happened to me on the day of my test:
Everything went great. PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE is all I have to say. I spent all day long with a digital thermometer and my donor sample. Here are my findings.
Heating the sample to 103 degrees and placing the bottle in "the spot" immediately, it cooled at a rate of 2 degrees every 10 minutes. I don't think anyone has stated this anywhere on the forum and I think it is important. Try this to prove me correct. I placed my sample heated to 103 degrees in between my scrotum and left leg, checked the temp after 10 minutes and it was 100.9, I checked in exactly 10 minutes later and it was 98.8 so on average 2 degrees, give or take .1 - .3 degrees varying on room temp and clothing. I was wearing shorts with tighty whiteys. I figured 20 minutes was plenty of time to walk from my car into the office and piss, wrong. It took almost 40 minutes...but I wasn't that worried..why??? Because I predicted that may happen and PRACTICED. I knew that even after 50 minutes, the sample would still be at 97.8 degrees, not perfect, but still acceptable and not enough to cause suspicion (correct me if im wrong). My test was a random DOT 5 panel, THC, Coke, PCP, Opiates, Methamphetamines. I made sure I chatted it up with the Dr, she was very cool, wasnt at all nervous on the outside, but inside I was still feeling the unequaled stress of 48 hours worth of thinking my life was over and my children would be homeless along with myself and wife...all this for a 2 month weed binge, not worth it. I am a big boy, and would have found a way to cope with life if it had not gone my way, but thanks to this forum and the many people who have contributed to the instructions and the advice to PRACTICE, I got over. I hope all of you do too.
One more thing, I used to substitute before the internet was as advanced as it is today (around 1993), back when it was easy to pull off, so I had done this before, but the world has changed since those days.

I have to say I am leaning towards subsituting although I still think there may be a chance I could pass on my own with maybe just a little dilution. If I got a very very faint line without really doing anything abnormal at all, 4 or 5 more days pass, and I dilute a little, then maybe I can pass on my own. I plan having my sister pee for me early Monday morning (test day), but I will also take another home test or two. Maybe one on Sunday and another Monday morning...I can go to the testing facility at any time on Monday. If I fail the home tests, then at least I have my sister's to sub with. I am going today to get the things I need to substitute, and I will start practicing. I think practicing may help alleviate some of my fears. I also plan on picking up some creatine today, to start supplementing (four days in advance) just in case I end up diluting.

I think it's going to be a nerve wracking weekend.

Btw...hubby got tested today and passed! His was a saliva test though..done on the job site, and he has been clean for 10 days now...so he wasn't too worried. I wish everybody would switch to saliva tests lol...they're easier to pass with less time, less expensive, and make more sense because they only detect recent use which is what employers should be looking for in the first place! I also think they're a bit harder to "beat" (you can't substitue saliva lol), so it makes more sense for the employer in that respect, too! Of course, I'd rather just see drug tests go away altogether, at least for employment.
