| Went in for the usual procedure, but this time the tester was a hospital toxicology lab, not Quest or Labcorps. Got a phone call from the lab asking me to call them back, no answer. But I'm thinking that the only reason they'd call me instead of the employer calling me is for a re-test. Subbed using Quick Fix Batch F11L-07 in a sealed 5.7 box (bought from ebay since the manufacturer doesn't sell to this state). Now I'm basically screwed and have to rely on dilution, so this job is probably out the window along with my reputation. Why would Spectrum Labs send out batches that are within a few months of expiration? Yeah, I know, I should've checked it out with adulteration strips, but thought the batch was within spec since it's not 2 years old (but I shouldn't have even gotten 2 year old stuff anyway). ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

| You have no idea why they called you. There is such a thing as a fatal flaw. For example, if the collector didn't have you initial the seal on the vials. I have actaully had a test destroyed or leaked out during shipping. If your test is a pre-employment and is destroyed in shipping, they would need to re-collect a specimen. It could have nothing to do with the specimen itself, it might be one of the examples I gave or any other fatal flaw. |

| Confirmed. Creatine level is too low. The shelf life of Quick Fix is NOT 2 years, as they say on their website and as other people have said. And just to further warn people, I got it from ebay from the seller that pops up at the top of the list when you do a search, so don't buy from him since he's selling old, expired product (he might have new stuff, but who knows unless you open it). |

| Your QF batch was manufactured in Nov '07 (as indicated by the F11L-07 code) making it nearly 2 years old as of this writing. The actual shelf life is 18-24 months, according to Spectrum Labs. Quote:

)?And to the other poster - the low creatinine level was confirmed by the MRO, which is pretty definitive, IMO. | |

| Why not complain to Ebay. Post a dissatisfied customer complaint. Also, while you are at it, be sure to tell Ebay that they are allowing a vendor on their website that is selling an a product to a person in a State where that product is ILLEGAL. See how fast Ebay pulls all synthetic urine off their website. |

| Just to follow up, the place did a split specimen collection and wasn't going to allow a re-test, just a test of the second sample (at my expense, of course, which was $150). But the employer apparently pulled some strings and they allowed a supervised retest. Had about 3 days, so followed the dilution method, and went in today. Home test from Walgreen's showed negative, creatine loading was about 20g per day, which resulted in the well-known toilet-sitting side effect, but hopefully the employer/lab just went for the cheap/standard test this time too. Should hear back next week. |
