You're dirty and it's a pre employment screen. Proceed to the subsitution stickie thread. You can get a home test kit in most drug stores.

| Thanks for all the great information - this has been a very helpful and comforting thread. Just took a pre-employment test at Quest. 6'2", 200 lbs, medium metabolism (worked out like a bastard and ate low fat/high fiber for 1 week, then rested and ate fatty food for 1 week), clean for 16 days but smoking has been sporadic in '06...i've taken 4+ day breaks at least 3 times so far this year but smoked probably an average of two bowls of decent stuff every other day besides that and almost every day for at least the previous 2 years. I used N2's dilution method without the aspirin - the high doses seemed kind of dangerous and I think the scientific evidence supporting that strategy might be outdated, but maybe it does work. Also didn't load a ton of creatine because it gave me a bad case of the shits. I'll post results when I get them...I'm posting this now mostly to calm my nerves while I wait. Passed a few home tests beforehand but still paranoid. Also wanted to share some common misconceptions I found: (1) It seems red meat and fish are generally not a good source of creatine. This site says it is sensitive to heat and therefore destroyed during the cooking process, and you'd have to eat about 2.2 lbs of raw meat to get the same amount in one heaping teaspoon of creatine monohydrate supplement. (2) I've seen a ton of websites saying the GC/MS is basically impossible to beat, even with dilution. This does not appear to be the case according to this thread. The 50 ng/ml cutoff on the immunoassay is essentially the same as the 15 ng/ml cutoff on the GC/MS because the former is sensitive to ~30 different metabolites while GC/MS is only testing for the major one (delta9-THC-COOH I think it's called). |

| Smoked mod-heavy for 2 years...been currently smoke free since March 1 and have a pre-emply test on April 4th...Im roughly 150 pounds and have told I have a high metabolism...should I try the dilution or just wing it...people think I should be good...but I am paranoid as hell...if going dilution route what can be used instead of B2 (cannot find any)...and heard b12 does not do the best job...plus have many here who followed this tested for a diluted sample....thank you very much |

| Buy a home test, take it, then depending on the results, make an informed decision. |

Regular multi vitamins such as centrum work just fine, they have Vitamin B in them. You have been a month..I wouldn't be surprised if you're clean, or could follow the dilute directions by half. Buy a couple home tests and find out, i have a feeling you are looking good.

| B2 is defenitely hard to find by itself - look for "B complex", available at GNC, which contains about 3000% RDA B2. Practice with it beforehand...50mg was good enough for me. I thought I might be good without dilution as well (based on 4 home tests), but I was also paranoid and figured for pre-emp a diluted sample was better than positive....they don't give you any instructions so you can always say you drink a lot of water normally and didn't know any better. Besides, N2's method doesn't require a huge amount of dilution (only about 70 oz of fluid total), so it won't necessarily be obvious you were trying to hide something. Use the Urine Specimen Validity Test to check your levels of creatine and specific gravity beforehand. I haven't heard back yet though so perhaps my outlook will change in a couple days. Good luck. |

| Jbonham has not visited this website since last July. He/she is typical of most users (of the site). They get advice, post their results, then don't visit on a regular basis after that until they need advice again. |

| Is creatine enough to prevent a diluted result in a lab test such as the ones done by Medtox? I read that urinalysis can test for glucose, ketones, protein, RBC#, WBC#, and a plethora of hormones, but do these comprehensive lab tests test that comprhensively? And what about pH level and dilution? I've been online six straight hours without finding the answer, but with 30 days in jail riding on my ability to thwart Medtox, my mind's not gonna go anywhere else. Does the internet have the answer, or do I have to get under the scrubs of a Medtox lab geek to know the truth? If anyone else out there is forced to piss for Medtox, I hope we can combine our research and experience to discover Achilles' heel. I test tommorrow--gonna use both substitution and dilution, just to cover all bases. I figure that if my clean buddy's urine isn't up to temp after brewing beneath my nutsack, I can combine it with my own super-diluted creatine-enforced squirt. That, and the monitoring issue. Stealing the sample must be the surest and deffinately the raddest way to go about buying time, but I don't thing I'll have the balls to try. Still though, to feel like Lupin the 3rd... Thank you N2, Baby Jesus |
