I just found out today that I need to pass a drug test to recieve this new job. this is the chance of a lifetime so I really need to ace.
Here's my scenario

I last puffed april 17 (27 days ago). I am a very causal smoker maybe once a month if that. I passed a take home test this morning.
I'm not very active and about 30 lbs overweight

Am I in good shape for this test?
Is there any way to take a legitimate drug test without an employer knowing about it?

Please any help is appreciated.

You are in great shape to A, test youself with a home test to determin if you need B, to dilute or C, to substitute a clean sample. Read the links at the bottom of my post. Hope that helps. N2

I agree with N2 if you passed a home test there is no reason you should fail a test at the labs. Cheers!

I am not sure what you mean by an employer knowing about a drug test; if you are referring to privacy, the results of your screening will be known by your prospective employer now, but will not be transmitted to future prospective employers. There is a right to privacy in that regard, so they cannot make those results public for future jobs you may apply for. The test is only for that particular job; it will not put a red flag in your file for any future jobs you apply for.
