Hi everyone,

I've been lurking for some time here, and I think I've read every single post. Thanks to all the people who take the time to write some good info.

First about me: I'm 5'11 and weigh about 145. I have a super fast metabolism. I last smoked a week ago today. I smoked frequently, but only a couple hits at a time. I generally go through an eighth in two weeks.

I took an athome drug test today, and I got a very faint line. I can schedule the test for when it's convenient, but I don't want to appear to be stalling. I have at least a week, and I'm going to try for two. I'm going to tell them that I'm working a lot to get my old job ready for me to leave. I think that sounds reasonable. Since I go to school, they probably will believe I'm just too busy to go do it. I showed up for the interview in a tie, so I don't believe they suspect I'm a pot smoker.

So that's really my first question...if after two or three weeks i pass the at home test, should i assume I'll pass quests? It's a five panel GC/MS w/NIT. Seems like it will probably be an emit first tho. I don't want to risk fouling somkething up if I'm already going to pass. Does three weeks seem a reasonable time frame?

What do you guys think?

Oh, and is drinking tons of cranberry juice in the meantime effective? I know water won't do any good, but cranberry has flushing properties, right?

Chris, At 3 weeks, IMHO, you will likly be below cutoff levels, but as you said, confirm that with home test. As for the cranberry question, cranberry has among it properties, the property of working as a mild laxitive. So from that perspective, yes, it will help 'clean you out'. LOL! However, It doesn't remove THCA from fat cells. The reason it is recomended in dilution is its diuretic properties. It helps you to urinate more frequently. Hope that helps. N2

thanks for the reply, but i guess what i'm asking is if you would be comfortable going for a pisstest just because you passed an athome test.

what are the differences? what do i need to know to be sure?

TO answer your question absolutly honestly, I only feel comfortable substituting a sample I am absoluty certian is clean. The home test are reliable and work on the same assay type test as the labs initial screen. Having said that, I recently read a post of someone passing a home test and later failing the lab test. I'll post the link. But because these home test are also used in court ordered testing, they should be relitively accurate and indicate what a lab result should be. N2

I agree with N2, the home tests are very accurate when compared to the tests they perform in the labs
