HI (I hope)-

I recently encountered a pre employment screen that was taken by mouth swab. I was hoping that someone had information on the process of detection of "foriegn substances" using this method of collection, and if there are any effective products available. I have seen no mention of this on this great site as of yet , but I am still searching.

While I am familiar with the test, saliva, I am not familiar with products that claim to defeat it. The good news is that saliva test are for active metabolites, not inactive like urine test. Depending on the test cutoff levels, 50ng/ml has a claimed detection window of 2-24 hours. Post report in reality about 2-10 or 12 hours. For the 20ng/ml cutoff, the detection window is claimed to be 1-48 hours, but again the reality is probibly closer to 1-18 hours. Hope that helps. N2

I will let you know about the product and the results. Even if the active metobolites are long out of the system. Peace of mind counts for alot.

I have a scenario. Lets say i smoked exactly one week before taking an oral swab. but i also happen to run and work out a lot. plus i dont eat much fatty foods and i drink a lot of juice. u think i will pass?
