Hi,

I've posted a couple of times here, and recently settled on substitution. I've heard pretty detailed accounts of what goes on in quest labs, but now i have reason to be nervous. My old bosses cousin told me she took a test (at quest labs - same location as I would) and they had her piss with the privacy of a curtain. Her friend (who works with her, and presumably took the same test) agreed.

I recently purchased the urinator, and am planning to use for sure clean urine. I was under the impression that with premployment testing, you would have privacy.

Can anyone shed light on this for me? I'm so nervous...

well when i went i had a door and i closed it just about all the way, probably could have closed it all the way but didn't want to look too suspicious since i didn't substitute anyway

they did make me empty my pockets and wash my hands before i went in

Chris, even if there is only a curtain, you can still substitute. Try this at home. Take a plastic cup and urinate in it. as long as your bladder is not bursting to go, the soung of voiding into a cup is VERY quiet. The noise in urinating comes from the urine traveling 2 feet and splashing into the water in the toilet bowl. A silent filling of the cup is the norm. My advice is to continue planning and practicing substitution and if you feel the need, be diluted as a backup plan. But I don't think you'll need plan B. Hope that helps. N2
