HELP! I am 27...been a daily chronic smoker for years. I am 6' 185lbs...small build with a medium metabolism. I rarely exercie. I have a very important drug test for a job coming up within the next week. The test will be a urine test along with a full physical. This is more than just a job..my entire career will depend on it. I have been clean for 11 days and I took a CVS home test today and failed. I am starting to freak out. I purchased a urinator but I am afraid to use it for I fear I will have no where to hide it for the full physical. I can't crouch because he will probably ask me to cough and I am afraid to it will be seen. I have never had a full physical...can I tape it to my leg or will he feel my legs for reflexes or something? Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Also, do they test for muscle relaxers (flexeril)? I have been taking someone else's prescription for back pain.

I don't know about the mussle relaxer. It is certianly possible. As far as having a physical and UA, 1st, when you walk into the clinic, tell them you are in for both, and you've been holding 'it' and need to release 'it' ASAP. That has always gotten a collection cup in my hands in just a few minutes. Then I can put the empty delivery device in a pocket or sock. If you are ask to dawn a gown, don't worry. You are NEVER ask to change in front of the medical staff. Hope that helps. N2

Come On! Someone please help me here. I'm sure some of you people have had a pre-employment physical and drug test. what can I expect? Where can I hide my urinator where it won't be found by the doctor? I can't stick it in my pocket because they may ask me to empty them before I pee. Also, do they test for flexeril???

I'm having a similar test in exactly one week and have had the same concerns, but for two weeks already. I suggest getting some boxer briefs that are a size too small (BVD and Fruit of the Loom work best because they have a "pouch" that holds the urinator perfectly). And get a dark pair. If you have to drop your drawers, someone's got to be seriously looking for something to notice it's stuffed in there. Once you've got 'em, walk around a lot with the urinator (batteries and 3.5 ounces of water) to get the feel of what it's going to be like. I also say wear baggie shorts, too.

Let me know how it goes. I'll be worryin' until next Thursday myself.

I just got both done a week ago at the same time.

I would suggest that you do the dilution method and test yourself with the homekit. During my physical i pulled the pants down right in front of the doctor so that I could turn my head and cough. If I was wearing a urinator I don't see how it wouldn't be really obvious. I got the drug test first and then got the doctor so if you could bring a girlfriend or a bag or something with you, you could take it off in the exam room while waiting for the doctor.

btw......I was a chronic smoker for months prior to the test (multiple hits of nugs a day) and stopped 2 days before the test used the dilution method (a little different than the one listed) and passed. I am a little thinner and have less body fat than you from what it sounds like (no offense or anything).

Cool. I really don't have much body fat just tall and lanky. I found out today I may have as much as a week before I have to do this so I am hoping to be clean by then and not have to worry about it. I will let you know how it goes. Thanks for the advice everyone.
