Ok, so here's my situation. I smoked liked every other weekend before May 19th and the week leading up to May 19th I smoked for like 4 days in a row. Since then I have only smoked twice: once like a week and half ago (June 4th or so) and once 3 days ago (June 10th) It wasn't that potent, but I did get high. I have a very, very high metabolism and low body fat, I am 6'2" and 175 pounds. I am going to be drug tested sometime in the upcoming week. What do you think my chances are of passing? I also excercise frequently (3 hard miles / day).

Your chances are pretty good that you will test positive on a drug screen...unless you try a variety of options. First, substitution would be your best bet...you can read the sticky on dilution and either get synthetic urine or urine from a friend that is clean. Just ensure the temperature is in the acceptable range for human urine. If you decide to dilute, make sure you drink plenty the day of the test, cease exercise about 48 hours prior, take about 4-6 aspirin about 30 minutes before the test, and make sure you urinate often the day of the test before going to the lab. In addition, stay away from fatty foods the days leading up to the test, also fiber helps to remove THC fat cells through the feces.

Read the dilution thread for more info on dilution. Get a home test to test yourself the night before in order to get an idea of if you could pass a test or not given your conditions. It is always hard to pinpoint an exact time for detox from person to person. Though you are in better shape than most given your metabolism and workout regimen, it is always a good idea to test yourself the days leading up to the actual test.

P.S. Start loading on creatine about 3 days before your test if you decide to dilute in order to have creatinine show up in your urine; in addition, I would recommend a good b vitamin the day of the test to help color your urine yellow. Don't buy the detox drinks since me, along with N2, will agree that you can get the same results from water and a little practice.

hmmm ok i will try dilution. thanks for your help mel.....ok well i guess i have another question - i can easily get my sister's urine and she is completely clean, its just that im worrried about whether they will observe. would u recommend i try bringing her urine in?

You haven't said what kind of test it is. If it is a court ordered probaton test, it will likly be observed. If it is a test for employment, it would be extreemly rare if it were observed. N2

oh ok...this is a pre-employment test. Actually i'll give you the exact wording...on the application it says "any offer of employment I may receive from ATK is contingent upon my successful completion of the total screening process, which may include passing a controlled substance test, completing a physical or fitness for duty examination, providing proof of authorization to work in the United States, etc. "

ok, its now June 14th, the last time i smoekd was Juen 10th, the time before that was a week an half before and before that I smoked (this is revised cuz i overestimated my use) maybe once eveyr two weeks. I dunno how accurate this is..sometimes I would smoke both days in a weekend, other times I woudl go 3 or more weeks without smoking. That was during school, which ended May 20th.

What I am wondering is whether I am a canditate for dilution. I do not want to do substituation unless there is a VERY good chance I will fail, so if I have a good enough chance using dilution, I will. Remember I have very active and have worked out daily for the past 2 or 3 years. Thanks again guys, ur help is really appreciated.

Yes, dilution will likly work for you. But remember, even though you will in all liklyhood pass the 'drug' part of the test, if you don't load with Creatine, as suggested in my dilution guidelines, there is at least a 25% chance your test result will come back dilute. N2

ok so i took an at home test the night before and i passed. however, i found out later from my friend that they put the sample through a machine. does this mean that it willl detect at a lower cutoff level or what? i think the CVS test i bought said it measured at 15ng/ml but im wondering whether running it thorugh a machine is more sensitive or what?
