I have recently taken a drug test for a large company. I have not smoked for about 40 days. I am a small person who weighs about 105 pounds and eats really well. At any rate, The night before I took the test I happened to be at a friends house who surprised me by taking me into a HUGE growing operation that he had going on in his house. There must have been hundreds of plants. The smell was extreme. Although no one at the house was smoking is there a way I can test positive just from being stuck in a room with tons of plants? I know this may be a dumb question since none of it was burning but I am completely freaked out! The first test I took came back diluted so for this second test I drank hardly any water. Any replies are greatly appreciated!! Thanks.

No. You will not test positive from the plants unless you touched all of them and got a bunch of resin on your fingers and you ate the resin lol.....you can't really test positive from just smelling the plants alone....but I bet it was pretty sweet being surrounded by all that greenery!

40 days should be sufficient given your stature for being clean, but I would still recommend dilution and a home test to make sure.

Being in the house with plants will not show on a test... but if 40 days is enough, that depends.

Thanks for the replies. I am slightly concerned about the time it has been since I last smoked. It was just about 40 days maybe closer to 45. I am an occasional smoker (2 days a week). I guess I am just worried because I did not dilute at all. Thoughts?

you should be ok as long as it was not the first urine of the day.
