First, let me thank everyone who contributes to this board, thank you for your contribution to keeping the US the land of the free (despite the current leaders trying to take that away). I promise to post a follow up on my drug test experience so I can add to the body of knowledge. I have spent hours reading tons of posts, in particular about synthetic urine. I have to take a drug test soon, going substitution route. I found out that it will be at the best hospital in the city, excellent toxicology lab. I have read that there haven't been any problems with synthetic urine, but this is no BS paper strip test, or Quest test (who are in it for the money, not the betterment of society anyway). My question is has anyone had any problems with the synthetic urine, when taking the test at a accredited hospital? I know this is a GC/MS test per someone else who had to take the same test at the same hospital for the same company. He didn't know the cutoff. Thank you in advance for your assistance!

More info: Looks like the test is EIA/ENZ 20 ng, if positive confirmation is 6 ng using GC/MS.

I haven't had one done at an actual hospital, but supposedly synthetic urine is what they use to calibrate the machines that run the tests. If you follow the procedure properly and make sure it's in the right temperature range (usually 90-100 fahrenheit), I don't see how you could have any problems.

| dingles, Cassius is correct. In the GC/MS, they are only looking for a specific metabolite. If the metabolite is absent, your test is negitive and you pass. Synthetics will work fine and are used in callibrating the GC/MS. N2

I feel pretty safe with the substitution method, but would the EIA/ENZ detect this? I am unable to find much info on this test. As promised, I will give a full report of my story....including 18 days smoke free and unable to pass a 20 ng EIA/ENZ. I am going to buy the synth and take a test using it (there is a hospital that you can come in and take the test anonynmously).
