I have not used in 4 to 5 months, & I drink the Eliminator drink, but I still failed. I had to take this test because Social Services had it court ordered. I'm in a wheelchair & I might lose my son because of this test. I need some help finding information concerning my issue. I need something that may explain to ss that it is possible to fail a test after not using for so long. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

if you haven't toked for that long and you still failed someone ****ed up your sample.You said you were confined to a wheelchair. How long? Are you overweight? I know pot hangs on longer in an overweight person because it has more fat cells to hang onto. If this is not your case I would fing someone to help you fight it if it concerns losing your kid. Cut your hair (not all of it) and tell them you will submit to a hair test. If you have been clean 3-4 months nothing should show up. Good Luck

hard to say at this point it is hard to fight a positive test result in many cases. Maybe ask for a retest and refuse to believe that you came up positive

First, what type test was done.? Was there a GC/MS conformation test done? If not, the answer is fairly simple. EMIT type assay test have a false possitive rate of up to 4-34%' depending on the drug.

I would also urge you to have a second test done, either urine, hair, or both, ASAP. You can find testers in your local yellow pages under 'drug testing'. Prices generally run from $40-$80, but call, ask, and be sure the test includes a GC/MS conformation test. I would also urge you to contact NORML in your state. They can recomend good legal council, as having a child taken away is very serious. http://www.norml.org/

Thank you soooo much for the informative links & information. I have been at my whits end w/ the Dept. of Social Services. I'm a quadrapaligic & I've had nothing but problems w/ Dept. of S.S. since the day I came home from the hospital w/ my son. All I've done is try to live as normal of a life as possible, but SS has harrassed the hell out of me because I'm disabled & have a 20 month old son. Thanks everyone for the information!!
