| Here are my vitals: 34 years old, I smoke every day, a packed 1-hitter (so about 2 hits each day). No more, no less. I have a drug test coming up on Thursday this week. I have NOT smoked now for 29 days. I am about 5'9" and 170 pounds, moderately active (I work construction). Should I be nervous for Thursday? Should I bother to dilute? Should I just relax? Any suggestions? |

| Do a home test. If it is possitive, plan a course of action. N2

| Thanks N2. In your experience, can I trust in the home test? In other words, if I take a home test or two and come out negative, should I relax and feel confident that I will likely pass the lab test? I've heard that labs generally can test with greater accuracy than a home test, but is that just bad information? |

| In a way, it's both good and bad info. The initial screen, generally an EMIT, is no more accurate than a home test and works on the same assay principals as a home test. The conformation test a lab does, GC/MS, for any possitive panels on the initial screen is much more accurate, and expencive. But since the GC/MS is only used to confirm any EMIT possitives, if you pass the EMIT, that's it. No more test, you've passed. So yes, the home test are accurate. Also, if you pass a home test with the most concentrate urine of the day, generally the first void of the day, you can rest assured that the rest of the days voids will be negitive. Hope that helps.
