| Been one week and two days since my test. Talked with HR on a couple issues, and no mention of test. I am feeling slightly better...but there is still chance that letter is on the way or results still pending... My advice: DON'T TAKE THESE TESTS LIGHTLY! Use the advice on this board and get through it if you are in a tight spot...but if you are thinking about a new job, I would lay low for a while... Best of luck to those who keep on tokin....I'm done for a loooooooong time, but will remember those days fondly...what a shame and a violation of rights, given that I have had exceptional success in the professional world, regardless of what I did at home on the weekends... |

| Well, here it is two weeks after my test...supposing that I passed. Hopefully, there will be no surprises. Supposed to start the job next week... So, for all those worried occasional smokers...I smoked for YEARS...then went off for six months, then smoked one night...off for two months...smoked one night again...then tested 21 days or so after my last smoke... I diluted...carefully and not too heavily...according to suggestions on this board... Believe me, just cause I am not a hardcore smoker anymore doesn't make my stress (or that of anyone in a similar situation) any less than it is for heavy smokers....add the potential of the pending career move, and it can be a despairing situation...I found solace in the board when I needed it, along with the great info. thanks! |
