I had to take a pre-employment drug screen the other day. They called me one afternoon and asked me to report the next morning for testing. I smoke the very best Kind practically every day and even though I passed my last test via dilution, it has been a few years, I smoked something less potent back then, and I did not want to risk it. In fact, I happened to be smoking when she called me to offer the job after I had interviewed several hours before. I tried this and it worked great I think. Here's how I did it:

1) Purchase 1 Blunt in plastic cigar tube (sold at convenience stores, I got one for $.95).

2) Remove blunt from from cigar tube and retain for celebratory purposes after passing drug-screen. Thoroughly wash the cigar tube (I bought a strawberry blunt and the smell was kind of strong so I took care of that by washing it out with a little baking soda).

3) Obtain clean donor urine. I used my husband's. He is a very casual smoker and it has been 4-6 weeks since he last took a couple of bong hits, he also excercises heavily and drinks tons of water and other fluids. Be sure to fill the cigar tube all the way up to just enough for the cap to go on. My lab required about 45-50 ML of urine and I just made it.

4) Immediately insert (using a drop or two of KY if needed but, careful not to use too much, don't want it to shooting out at an inappropriate time).

5) Put on 2 pairs of panties and pants or pantyhose if wearing a skirt and head for the facility. I had to stop by the employer and pick up a form and then go to the facility around the corner. For most women about an inch or two of the cigar tube will stick out so sit and get out of the car carefully to avoid discomfort or injury.

6) At the facility, carefully remove cigar tube and fill sample cup with donor while urinating into the toilet. Be sure not to leave the cigar tube in the testing facility restroom.

7) Quickly submit sample to avoid excessive cooling.

From the time I inserted until the time I deposited was about 2 to 2 1/2 hours. When I poured the urine into the sample cup it was still hot just like my body. Upon leaving the restroom the lady was not outside the room nor anywhere in sight, so I had to go find her. Then she had me sign the paperwork and verify the label serial number sealing my tube matched the paperwork insuring it was my sample. I asked her if they would have the result to my new employer by the end of the day. She said it took 2 days so it would probably be Tuesday. I told her I'm sure they would be ok with that even though I am due to start Monday. My only concern is that she did not take the temperature of the sample during any of this which took up most if not all the 4 minutes they are required to check temperature within. My friend said she probably didn't even bother since the sample was body temp warm and I seemed friendly and confident. One friend said that I look like a sweet housewife or something, plus I have a nice little southern accent, pretty much the last person anyone in the world anyone would suspect as the serious pothead I am. A friend said she has used this method lots of times before and it has worked like a charm, every time. I feel pretty confident in the results but I'll post here to confirm when I find out.

you probably passed, I too find it odd that they did not verify the temperature while you were watching them, because as you said, after a few minutes of handing the sample over, that temperature, which is well into the 90's, should be lower once it is transferred and bottled and labeled, and handled etc. etc. The urine will never be that warm when they go to test if for substances. I am sure it was probably the right temp anyways considering it was pretty close to body temp when you voided.

They cannot tell if the urine is from a male or female without testing for hormone levels which they cannot do without disclosing it to you. I'm glad to know the sub method will work for me. I hated the job I got even though the pay was good so, I decided to continue searching rather than stay on someplace where I'm already unhappy after only a week and a half. I called them this morning and told them I was not coming back. I'll most likely end up having to take another urine test for my next employer.
