| Labcorp did NOT split my specimen...checked the NO box under split specimen collection...I thought they did this in order to first run the screen, then the confirmation with the second sample if positive indicated... I fear this means they are doing the heavy duty, super-sensitive test right off the bat....or perhaps not testing for MJ at all...the application instructions insisted I get screened within 72 hours of accepting the job... per my previous posts...I have been off for 22 days...and I took only a one hit 22 days ago, and before that it was a couple months off...before that it was six months off, and before that it was 10 years smokin' almost daily...probably never again, as my life is shortened by all this stress... passed athomedrugtest.com twice... What are the caveats of "no split specimen"? |

| Even on a split speciman, both the initial screen and if needed, any conformation test, are done to the same (first) sample. The split or second sample is used primarily in safty sensitive testing areas where a second test, preformed by a second lab, may be nessasary. It is VERY common for pre-employment test to be single sample collections. The sample will still be given an initial (EMIT) screen and only IF there are any possitive pannels, be given a conformation (GC/MS) test. Hope that helps. N2
