I wasn't sure how to post without replying, but this is really to anyone who wants to listen. I have a test that will probably happen on Monday. Its weird. I was offered the job today, and asked to start on Monday. I said "Well, do you need me to go take a urine test this weekend?" trying to make it sound like I was trying to help the whole starting on Monday thing out. They said "no, we will go over all of that with you on Monday and you can just take care of it then". Hmmmm.

I haven't smoked in 36 days, but I totally flunked the home test. I guess I am just one of those people that it stays in their system a long time. I'm not hugely overweight or anything. But...

So, I've been testing a double bagged condom in my bra. I have large b**bs, so you totally can't see it. I'm going to use my hubbie's stuff. I have three concerns. One is temperature, so I am going to try some test runs. I tried it with one condom the other day and just got 93.5, but I'm hoping that is a fluke. Two is leakage. I'm working with the double bagged, bread tie thing. Third is smell. I have no earthly idea what time I will take the test. So...it could be pretty smelly by the time I get there. I'm hoping they will send me to the testing site alone and I can meet up with hubby on the way and get something fresh.

I appreciate any help anyone has, as well as talking me through this. The stress is killing me. BTW, thank GOD for this board.

Sorry about the mistake in placement earlier...

I love the idea of the temp strip. I'll do that. Also, I'm thinking about not taking anything with me, and just calling hubbie to meet me when I know about the test. I'm doubting that they will test me at the offices and/or have someone drive me over there.

I agree with the practice, practice, practice. I saw your post about losing temp due to the small hole in the condom.

If they give me a hair test, I'm out of luck.

Oh yeah thats right, you should be fine , just follow the dilution method taught by no other then N2.

The trick is to drink a lot water untill you urinate clear, once you hit clear urine , pee like 7 times more clear. Then the 8th clear you piss out should be the one you use.

Now lets get back to the boobs.

I needed that. I don't think dilution is right for me. I'm going to go the substitution route. If that's not good enough, I'll just have to deal with the consequences.

you will acheive a more constant temp if you use the vaginal orifice for the condom, but that is up to you. It is possible in the breasts, but they tend to be a little less insulated since they sit outside the body. I can't stress enough the practice part of substituting, because in reality, the temperature is going to be the only real issue when you go to the test. Donor urine should be fine in the condoms for 6-8 hours after it is voided from the body; you can also take urine and freeze it for whenever you need it. A temp strip is highly recommended, but again, not required. It is up to you whether you want to use the travel bottle or the condom. Leakage should not be an issue as long as you twist fully at the end of the condom and tie tight; again, this should be something you can practice at home. Fill a condom with water and try the same methodology and leave in your breast for a few hours and see if you have any leakage problems.

At 36 days, you can also dilute, and you will most likely pass that way too. It is hard to believe that you would fail after diluting and being clean for over 5 weeks.

Thanks for your response. I've been practicing for a while now and am constantly modifying my plan. I am now using a travel size bottle of Dove body wash. It is kind of flat (not round) and fits entirely under the breast. I think because it is fully covered, I am getting better temperature readings. I tried vaginal placement, but that just wasn't working for me. I am also using the temp strips. That was great advice. Right now I am achievening 97.4, with the actual temperature of the water .2 less at 97.2. That is only if I am outside, though. Inside I am running at about 96.8, with the water temp .2 less at 96.6. I have now purchased WellPatch Heat Warming Pads. They heat on contact with the air, and supposedly work for eight hours. I am going to try to cut one of those and place it in the same place as the bottle. If I can get a couple more degrees with that, I will be very happy.

My test is Monday, and it is Saturday night now. However, I think it is good advice to also try the dilution method, just in case. I might go ahead and give dilution a try as my backup. My biggest concern now is that I am afraid they might not do a urine test. What if they do hair? Oh well. I might also try McCujo's recipe for that.

I will definitely be certain to let everyone know how it goes. Thanks for your reply. I really appreciate the emotional support.

keep in mind hair tests are still yet to be perfected; for this reason, the number of companies that employ this method is very low. The chances of a hair test are slim; while I would still keep hair testing in mind, I would concentrate your efforts on urine; even the federal government recognizes the inaccuracy of hair testing, so be aware that you will most likely just have to pee in a cup.

Agreed--My neighbor works in HR for a company that uses hair analysis. She says they even had one guy that showed up with use 18 months prior. She said they use the whole hair, not just the closest 1.5 inches to the head.
