Just browsed the sticky by Mr. Crowley and found an article on dilution testing. Subjects consumed MJ and Coke, diluted with one gallon of water over 4 hours. It gos on about specific gravity, etc, but what struck me was that the THC metobolite counts rarely returned to pre-dilution levels!

After 8-10 hours:

"Consequently, negative cannabinoid results induced by fluid ingestion rarely returned to positive after excess water was eliminated. In contrast, negative cocaine results reverted to positive quickly after the dilution effects disappeared."

Hmm, dilution day(s) before testing may help drop THC-meta count? Am i reading this right? Maybe it is because blood and urine have been "flushed" and it take some time for the fat to turn-over again, releasing THC-meta's. Also, wouldnt this "wash-away" the creatinite, causing a problem on test day regaurdless of creatine loading?

well I will not discuss cocaine since it is outside the scope of the forums; however, diluting does lower metabolite concentration in the urine, but after a period of about 12 hours or even less, the counts should resume to normal levels prior to dilution. If you wanted to, you could test this by doing home tests after diluting and see how long it takes for your urine to go from a negative result (with dilution) to a positive result (post dilution). Of course the metabolite levels will be lower after dilution while the body is excreting more water in the urine stream, but the body will quickly come back to baseline and the concentration of THC will resume to your normal level hours after the dilution effect has subsided.
